A very good luxury camping site. You don’t need to prepare anything. You can go camping with nothing. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The staff are very kind and friendly, and they also provide LINE for text communication, so there is no need to worry about language barriers. The environment is beautiful and comfortable, but the transportation is relatively inconvenient. There is a small road in the center of the road that turns into the camping site. It is recommended to drive there by yourself or charter a car.

I was worried about staying here as a beginner, so I searched a lot on the internet, but I couldn't find anything accurate because the posts were from several years ago, and there wasn't much information on the official website, so there were a lot of different results. For example, I couldn't use PayPay, or I thought they would give me a set of tableware at the beginning, but they told me to bring my own items, so I didn't write anything down because I didn't know what to put them in. But what about the container that was left there? I carried it. There wasn't anything written about where the candles were when setting off fireworks, and I found out when I saw people using them. It's my fault for not asking, but due to time constraints we couldn't have any fireworks. . . I was wondering if I didn't have to wash the tableware I used because it was glamping, but I was a little disappointed, maybe because I brought my own food, maybe because I washed it myself, or maybe because I had high expectations for glamping. However, the dome was wonderful and it was nice to be able to watch movies on the big screen at night. The staff are nice and will answer your questions if you ask them, but I don't feel comfortable asking them over and over again, so if you have a booklet in your room that explains how to use the facilities at a hot spring inn, please don't ask over and over again. I wish it would have been better. I would like to see more Q&A sections on the official website. Something about marshmallows. . They say they bring lanterns at night. . . I thought it was a waste even though it was such a nice place.

Very nice place to go camping. You don't need to bring any utensils for cooking as the campsite provide variety of cooking utensils. If washroom and water supply are also installed in the dome would be perfect.

My family of three used it in mid-July.Summer plan [Glamping (Scandinavian style loft)] Stylish glamping with a loft in a Scandinavian style room. This tent is Dome No. 2, which our staff built between October and December last year. The dome tent was as stylish as the exterior, with a white color scheme, and was full of the handmade feel of the dome tent, which was made with the staff's thoughts. The fun this time was watching movies on a projector. I was able to enjoy the music at a low volume so as not to disturb those around me.Both dinner and breakfast are unique to glamping. All you want to do is enjoy the BBQ, and everything else will be taken care of completely. The local vegetables and ingredients carefully selected by the staff were all incredibly delicious.Once the staff has taken care of everyone, they come out of the office and chat with the guests to keep them entertained. The scenery is very soothing. They lent me a bucket for the fireworks at night, which was a big help. The night sky was full of stars and we even saw shooting stars.Out of all the camping experiences I have had, the thing I would recommend the most is Makkari Bonfire Campsite is that it is very quiet once the lights are turned off. At previous campgrounds, there were always campers making noise until 11:00 p.m., but Makkari Bonfire Campsite seems to have nothing to do with that kind of atmosphere. You can simply enjoy camping in nature and enjoy high-quality interactions with the wonderful guests who are enjoying camping and the staff who take care of you.Beginners to camping can learn how to enjoy camping. On the other hand, people in their 50s and 60s who have been camping with their families for a long time and whose children have left the nest and are now alone with their husbands and wives are enjoying a relaxing camping experience while feeling nostalgic about the past. I thought glamping at the campsite would be a good idea.Another thing that my family was impressed with was how clean the restrooms were. I used it casually at first, but most of the time, bugs get in the toilets at campgrounds, so I have to put up with using them. When my family told me that the toilet was clean, I looked again and saw that there were hardly any bugs. And the cleaning is perfect. I guess it's the owner and staff's commitment. There aren't many campgrounds in Hokkaido that have clean toilets, right? On this trip, I couldn't make the ``bonfire'', which is a selling point, due to my family's schedule. Definitely next time. Are you planning to build a tree house? Makkari Bonfire Campsite is being slowly but steadily built by the owners and staff.Added on June 25, 2023I used the sauna cottage. The view of Mt. Yotei from the private sauna was wonderful. Although there is an additional charge, it is convenient to rent a sauna gown. A brick bonfire space is currently under construction in front of the central kitchen, and will probably become the new symbol of the bonfire campsite. The support system of the staff has improved since last time.

This is my second time using it.It is friendly to outdoor beginners and has a wide range of rental items. For example, how to start a fire, use outdoor equipment, etc.If you ask the staff, they will kindly let you know. Also, many of the other customers are wonderful people. It's the kind of place where you can make friends at a campsite.Very safe to bring childrenYou can relax and enjoy nature. The toilet and women's shower room were also very clean.I will use it again. Thank you very much for your time.
