Went during pandemic, so there was no breakfast and no shuttle service, so minus 1 star. But nice staff, comfy beds, good social area with big speaker system. We were allowed to dry our gear in the living room so it was lovely and toasty and dry in the morning thanks to the heater. But I think normally everyone's gear will be downstairs in the cold basement and not sure it will dry properly down there.Impressive that they have a sauna, must cost a fortune to run it.It was about 10-15 mins walk to the lifts and Seicomart, a little farther than other places, but nice and quiet too thanks to that.

It’s little outside of Main Street of Niseko, but the staffs are really nice and friendly. The great solution for a backpackers who want to enjoy the ski or snowboard here.

Great location just 10 minutes away from the lifts. Shared accommodation with great facilities including a very cool sauna. Friendly staff and also nice breakfast. Go there and have fun searching for japanese powder snow.

Great place.Short distance walk to the ski lifts and the village. You just on the outskirts of the village so it’s peaceful and pleasant after a long day on the slopes.Simple is the best, you come and go at ease with a sauna at your disposal and a nice common area to meet the others. Thanks to the team that looked after us, they made the stay worthwhile and memorable.Juls

The Jam Lodge is a short walk out of the main town area, but close enough that it isn't an issue getting anywhere, with the massive benefit of being set in the trees and snow and you won't get the gorgeous morning views you do here anywhere else in town. There is a mix of room lodgings here, I had a cozy 2 bed room to share with my son and it was a good sized room compared to most Japanese offerings. The current hosts are super friendly and go out of there way to make your stay as good as can be. It is a slightly older place compared to the modern buildings in town, but this adds to the charm, and I can't find anything to complain about really. The only word of caution I could add is that it has quite steep stair cases without handrails, which could be an issue for the old or very young kids. If I was coming back with the full family, I would likely look for something else, but for 20/30 year old travellers without kids, this is ideal .
