All the reviews here are for the old UNO house (that was next door to the current one and used to be called "UNI house") the old rundown UNO house has been mostly demolished and renovated in to a private house... so don't go knocking …

I have used the private room two or three times in the past. There is an air conditioner and a TV, and it is easily accessible. It's a shared bath/toilet, and the walls are thin, so the foreigners in the next room came home late at night and talked until late at night, but other than that, it was a fairly comfortable stay (there's a public bath nearby) It was nice to have a great atmosphere). My mother also welcomed me warmly, making it a homely stay.

Although it is a bit small and inconvenient, it is convenient to use the subway. A morning walk near the Imperial Palace park is also refreshing. …

Private room with shared bath and toilet costs 3,000 yen. There is also a 1,000 yen deposit for the key, which you will get back when you leave. The room has a futon, TV, air conditioner, and Wi-Fi.There is no staff on site, so you will not be able to check in unless you let them know in advance what time you will arrive. There is no bathtub, just a shower, but there is no hot water at night. It looks like the switch was turned off from the beginning.Check-out is until 10:30, and unless you tell them what time you'll be leaving in advance, there won't be any staff. The room was small, but reasonably comfortable, so it was quiet and nice for just sleeping. The location is very convenient as the Kawaramachi Marutamachi bus stop is less than 2 minutes away. The station is far away. There are no rental bicycles at the inn, so the only option is to rent one near the station. The entrance, hallway, dressing room, shower, and stairs are all narrow, so people with large bodies may feel cramped. The lady at the reception is very friendly.

One of the worst places where I stayed anywhere (apart from India). Very spartan rooms without furniture (only futons) or windows. The shared shower room is barely acceptable.
