We spent 3 nights at Océanos at the beginning of June. Jordy (a Frenchman living in Ishigaki) and his wife did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible (we even received one of the best mangoes I have eaten as a welcome gift!).The house, fully equipped, is 20 meters from a semi-private beach, ideal for relaxing away from the world. We greatly appreciated the services offered by Océanos, such as the wetsuits for swimming (at that time, there could be jellyfish in the waters of Okinawa) or the wise advice from Jordy. Unfortunately we didn't have time to take advantage of it this time, but Jordy also offers outings in the mangrove. A reason to come back!Although the house is isolated from the main town (a half-hour drive), it is an ideal base camp for visiting Ishigaki, since it is halfway between the northern and southern tip of the island.I'll be back ! :)

I visited with 5 friends for 3 nights in June. I don't usually write reviews, but it was so comfortable that I decided to post one.Specifically, the host (Eriko) was always smiling, kind, put the guest first, and responded quickly and appropriately, with nothing to say.The facilities are better than I expected, and it's more comfortable than at home (lol).In particular, the kitchen is spacious, 2 to 3 people can work together, and the water pressure (including the bath and shower) is high.And above all, it's a 1-minute walk to an almost private beach with a wonderful natural environment! You can drink beer while enjoying the ocean view from the villa's grassy garden!If you are having trouble deciding between a hotel or a villa, don't hesitate and choose Oceanos!

The host were great! Made us feel welcome and were so helpful. The view is spectacular and having the beach just a few steps down, was perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough! It was the trip of a lifetime!

Lovely place in the north of Ishigaki.I stayed for 2 nights in October. It is a really comfortable and beautiful place that was the best fit for my workation with a colleague (and friend). We were two people, but the place is big enough for a family. There is direct access to the sea and you can use the available kayaks.The trek was a great experience and Jordy, the owner of the place, knows really nice trekking routes. It was an amazing experience!It is definitely a place I would recommend!

Very cute place in the north of Ishigaki!Direct access to the sea (the sunset was so beautiful from the garden)The place was very big and could fit 6 people without any issues.The sky was full of stars in the night… this was an unforgettable experience.If you love trekking, ask Jordy the owner to take you on a tour. He is one of the few trekking guides in Ishigaki and will make you discover the jungle of Ishigaki!Wish I could have stayed more than 2 nights. You can’t go wrong by staying there.
