Absolute recommendation - 10/10! I don't think I've ever slept in a hotel where you can wind down so quickly. Great ambience, very nice staff and delicious Japanese breakfast! The atmosphere in the lobby with its minimalist design allows you to take a deep breath. The rooms are beautifully paired with high-quality furnishings. The pajamas complete everything!

I spent three nights in this facility, the island is small and can be easily explored by car, the facility is about 20 minutes from the main city, but easily accessible, in the vicinity of Meguru there are still many beaches, bars, restaurants where you can eat, furthermore Meguru also offers the possibility of being able to eat in the structure (all very good), I am vegetarian and I had no problems, they were very helpful with the menu. The room is small but everything perfect. They also offer super comfortable pajamas in the room which I recommend purchasing, unfortunately they were sold out when I was in the facility.

I used it for 2 nights.A long time ago, I stayed at a different inn, and when I decided to stay there on this trip, I found out that it had changed. I stayed there because I felt a connection.I'm really glad I stayed. The room was clean and the food was delicious.I will definitely make a reservation again when I visit Ishigaki Island. The staff were also very kind and made me feel comfortable.Thank you for the wonderful memories!

This property is undoubtedly beautiful and exudes a sense of tranquility; bed was comfortable and breakfast was nice. However, I regret to say that I cannot recommend it due to what I perceive as unprofessional conduct and a lack of support for international travelers.Firstly, the property is quite isolated, making it essential to have a vehicle; otherwise, you may find yourself in a very challenging situation, as we did. Unfortunately, the hotel never informed us of this crucial detail before our trip. We were quite shocked upon arrival to discover that we needed an international driving permit translated into Japanese to rent even a scooter. Additionally, arranging a taxi was nearly impossible, as the local drivers deemed the journey too short to be worth their while, and trips to town or hiring a daily driver to explore the island were ridiculously expensive.Walking is not a viable option either, as it takes nearly an hour to reach Kabira Beach, and the route is far from ideal. The same applies to finding a place to dine—without a vehicle, you are left stranded. The hotel requires two days' notice to arrange meals, but we had only reserved two nights and knew this situation on arrival, so what can we do??!!Furthermore, the check-in process was excessively lengthy. The receptionist had to rely on a phone translator for even the most basic communication. Would it be so difficult to send an English PDF outlining key details and info before the trip? This could easily streamline the check-in process and prevent unpleasant surprises for travelers. Moreover, the only way to communicate with guests is through Instagram accounts, which seems rather unprofessional. Additionally, no plug converters were available, so we were unable to charge our devices throughout our stay. They also didn’t helped to find one and even to take our luggage from a 3th floor downstairs. While the property is designed to function as a hotel, they fail to offer the level of assistance one would expect in the hospitality industry. The most disheartening aspect was that the hotel offered no solutions—only a list of problems. The staff were very nice but not helpful at all. This is incredibly draining when all you want is to enjoy your vacation. After just 48 hours on Ishigaki, feeling exhausted and disheartened, we decided to return to the main island.

We had a great stay here to end our trip to Ishigaki. Everything is perfect in this special place: the interior, the staff, the food. Everything has been thought out and taken care of down to the last detail. If you are looking for a place where design and hospitality meet, look no further and stay here.If we ever come back to Ishigaki, we will definitely stay here again!

This Hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed in. Not because of the minimalistic high-quality materials that have been carefully selected and make the room very cozy or because of the breathtakingly beautiful view that pampers you every morning. But because of the staff Haruka and Kana who give everything to make you feel at home. Thank you both again from the bottom of our heart, it was a wonderful stay especially because of you two. ありがとうございます Rahel & Joel (Instagram: flugmodus.reise)

Very pleasant experience in Meguru, cosy and stylish decoration, every details are well thought. Our experience was highly qualitative thanks to Haru who is very nice, good advice and has a high quality sense of service.I think she gives an additional touch of well being. At the end good point there is a washing machine and dryer ! Useful. For european standards, bedroom was a bit small.

I stayed here once before, and the concept, space, and location were all wonderful, so I decided to use it for my retreat project this time.I also conveyed the plan and image to the hotel manager, and discussed with him how far it would be possible. They were very kind and asked if I could use the entrance for yoga in the morning. Thank you for your suggestions, and it was a great retreat. thank you!At this time of year, I could only hear the chirping of red-winged kingfishers in the morning and evening, listening to the chirping of birds and feeling the gentle breeze as I practiced yin yoga, and I was able to experience a sense of peace and comfort that I don't feel in everyday life, and that filled my heart with satisfaction.A meal that can be enjoyed with all five senses. When you wake up in the morning, you can see the powerful trees and the ocean from the window.A sky full of stars as seen at night.Earthing at a nearby beach."Awaken your five senses and rediscover your daily life"That's exactly what happened, and it made me realize how much my five senses were dulled every day. This is a hotel you'll want to visit again and again.I would definitely like to hold a retreat here again.Thank you to all the hotel staff!
