Hoshi no Anne

A wonderful pension in the middle of the beautiful scenery of Biei.I used it on a solo trip in mid-June.It was my first time staying at a lodging facility like this and I was nervous, but the gentle owner and his wife welcomed me warmly, and it was definitely one of the most memorable moments of my trip.It's in a place with a lot of nature, so I sometimes saw ants in the room and in the bathroom, but personally I think it's within an acceptable range. If you're not very good at insects, it might be a bit difficult...Maybe it's better to visit in winter.The room has wood grain and large windows, giving it a clean feel.There was air conditioning, a TV, and there were free drinks in the hallway, which was nice.One of the purposes of this trip was to see the starry sky in Biei, so I rented a room with a terrace where I could see the stars at night.Around 6pm, the clouds started to look suspicious and it rained regularly during the night, so I felt disappointed, but when I woke up around 1am, as if praying, I saw countless stars...!I'm really disappointed that I can't take pictures with my iPhone and post them here, but it was a truly wonderful starry sky.I was thrilled to be able to look at the starry sky while lying on the bed.Usually, many solo travelers stay here, but on the day I stayed, there were no solo travelers, so I was a shy person so I got quiet, but the two owners were very friendly. I was glad that you spoke to me.The food for both dinner and breakfast was excellent, especially the croquettes for dinner, the bagel with cheese for breakfast, and the orange-flavored bread (sorry, I don't know the name...).Mild Seven Hill is right nearby, so I was happy to be able to take a casual walk early in the morning.I want to stay in the middle of Biei! I was looking for a place to stay, and I'm really glad I stayed here.I would like to use it again when traveling alone, and I would also recommend it to my family and friends!
