This is a campsite that you can enjoy alone or in a group. I like the sound of the river.

Thank you for staying with me for one night on my first visit.I had a great time at the site along the river. Apparently the price has gone up a bit due to a change in ownership.

It was in a slightly secluded location, and the stars looked very beautiful! It seems that the previous owner spent 17 years building everything except for one unit, and you will be overwhelmed by the DIY feel of the building! The land is not too leveled, there are plenty of facilities, and it feels free.It really feels like a playhouse. The shop selling gear was also nice.No wonder there are so many regulars.

I used it for the first time on the morning of the first day of a three-day holiday in November 2023, and I was able to choose from the riverside locations I wanted. It seems that the previous owner took over the management of the campground shop about three months ago.I'm sure it must have been busy, as it was a long holiday, and the restaurant was fully booked to capacity, but I was impressed by how politely they accommodated my last-minute reservation. They were also kind enough to rent the car after dark. (Administrator: Thank you for that section). It costs 1,500 yen per night, and 300 yen to use the brand new women's toilet with flushing. The size of the campsite is about the limit where about 20 groups can comfortably camp together, even if it's packed fairly tightly. As mentioned below, I had a comfortable time even though it was crowded. The site is not that large, so the manager will suggest multiple spots where you can set up, taking into account the size and number of tents reserved for the day. When it's crowded, the larger sites seem to be reserved for larger tents or groups, so you'll have to choose smaller tents elsewhere. Even when I used it for the first time, they suggested multiple sites along the river, and they carefully confirmed my wishes by asking, ``Do you want a site along the river?'' ``Are you okay with a site further away?'' They will think about it together. I talked a little with the people in the large tent who checked in late, and like me, it was their first reservation. In the end, I think this method was very good. The larger tents that came later did not force us to pitch them in a small space, and as a result, each tent was carefully spaced to maintain a well-balanced distance. Even though there were so many tents, it didn't feel crowded, it was private and comfortable. I didn't feel like I was crammed in, and I thought I could hang out with peace of mind even during busy periods such as holidays. It's a historic campsite, so some of the facilities are old and cluttered, but there are plans to add a shower building, so we can expect things to get better in the future.I will definitely use it again.
