I used it after descending from Mt. Nishihotaka. I was a little worried because it looked old, but it was reasonably priced and I was satisfied with the content. The food, Hida beef grilled on a ceramic plate and river fish sashimi, is delicious.I felt luxurious in the bath, with plenty of hot water flowing directly from the source. The room and futon were fluffy and I had a good rest.

It was an inn with a Showa era atmosphere (in a good way) run by an elderly landlady.I used Jalan Reservations, and I think it was great that I was able to stay in this area for 12,000 yen including dinner.room6 tatami room with wide veranda (2 tatami mats), no bath or toilet, TV availableThere aren't many outlets, so if you're using charging, it might be a good idea to bring your own.The scenery wasn't great, but it was nice to hear the sound of water flowing.mealwas delicious.I had three bowls of ``the landlady's signature rice.''You can enjoy it without leaving any side dishes. The soup comes with dishes other than those in the photo. Lightly seasoned and delicious.Pork salad. I like the sesame seeds.Hida beef was served. The miso and sesame sauce is so rich that you can eat a whole bowl of rice with it.bathI couldn't go to the open-air bath. The indoor bath is as shown in the photo. It's deep enough that you can fully immerse yourself in the mold, and although it's not large, it's normal (if you think of it as a guesthouse). The window wasn't open. The floor wasn't slippery and I thought it was cleaned properly.

Good old Showa retro inn. Hot springs are fed directly from the source. I hope they continue to do their best.

I used it on my way back from climbing Mt. Yarigatake in early winter. The elderly landlady was handling the service by herself. The accommodation fee was less than 10,000 yen including two meals, which was reasonable, and the hot springs were relaxing. It was reserved exclusively during the winter because there were not many customers. There is duct tape in the room to prevent stink bugs, which is a consideration. Speaking of greed, I think it would have been nice to have tissue paper. Although she has a son, it doesn't seem like he will be her successor, so I wanted to support her while she can do her best.

It seems that the elderly proprietress is running the business by herself, so it must be difficult on days when there are many guests.

It was disappointing. . . The entrance was dimly lit and the inside smelled like sweat. I wasn't shown to my room, and when I entered, an even more sour smell hit my nostrils. The open-air bath is located in a bush about 200 meters away from the inn, and apparently wild boars come out at night (according to the host), so I went there just before sunset, but to put it simply, it's quite a long time. I broke when I saw the clothes basket covered in dust, as if it hadn't been cleaned. The above was my personal impression.
