In August 2013, I traveled across Omote Ginza and stayed at Enzanso, Hutte Nishidake, and Yarigatake Sanso.First, when you call to make a reservation, you will be told that there will be no alcoholic beverages for sale.No private conversation is allowed during meals, making it impossible to have fun conversations with fellow guests. There are 8 rooms with bunk beds for each group of 4 people, which can accommodate about 32 people, but I shared a room with 2 Chinese (Hong Kong?) men. This day was a weekday and there were about 8 guests. I wish I had another bed. There were two people in charge of the hut, a man with round glasses and a man who looked like a foreigner who was in charge of cooking. It looks like an old-fashioned, blunt mountain hut, but the initial explanation was thorough.I think all the mountain huts in the Northern Alps are competing for services as mountain resorts, but it doesn't seem like they're putting that kind of effort into it here.It may be the place where the Nakabusa Onsen group was demoted. It is an important resupply point as it is the halfway point between Omote Ginza, so we may be grateful for it.The tent site seems to have a good reputation as long as the view is nice and there is no strong wind.
