I booked a room around 4 hours before I arrived, on a last minute decision. 3000yen on booking dot com. When I arrived it was easy self service check in. The room was clean enough. It had a really cool vibe to it, in peak travel times it's probably a really fun place to stay.

Stayed in a "private room" while sightseeing in Kofu. The room was filthy. There is an expired convenience store lunch box from a previous guest in the refrigerator. There are curly hair on the tatami floor. The containers of shampoo and body soap in the bathroom were damaged. I don't bother with things that don't cost money, such as cleaning and containers (you can buy them at the 100 yen shop).After going out in the morning, after touring the city, I happened to pass by the inn and saw the manager sitting on an outdoor chair. When I told him that there was the previous night's lunch box in the refrigerator, the manager didn't even apologize, but instead said, ``Thank you for letting me know.''Even if it's cheap, cleanliness is necessary as long as you get paid. If you're going to run a business that feels like a cheap hotel in a foreign country, the rent should be 2,000 yen per night. Inns in the 3,000 yen range near Shin-Imamiya in Osaka are much cleaner. There is no next time.

It was conveniently located and the price was cheap. There was a person in the same room with sleep apnea, and I couldn't sleep because of his pathological snoring. . I think such people should treat their sleep apnea syndrome before staying overnight.

This is a guesthouse where I stopped by for a short stay before traveling through the Southern Alps.Since the price is cheap, it is comfortable to stay there thinking of it as a place to just take a nap.I used a 4-person dormitory, and it was a bit narrow and uncomfortable, but there don't seem to be many places around here where you can stay for a day at this price.The wifi works too!

We stayed in a private room. The digital check in process was a pain, the room was not clean. Left over trash from previous guests and a buildup of disgust in the bathroom and around the room was gross.Easily could be improved with decent cleaning throughout the facility. I would stay anywhere else.

I arrived here after a long trek. I was welcomed by the friendly staff. There was a great social space down stairs where I met many great people, travellers and locals.The bathroom was enjoyable being a micro sized shower/bath, really good depth for bathing. I made it a women's only room. Having a toilet in the room is convenient.The shower curtain in the unit bath was so dirty that I didn't feel like taking a shower.I recommend coming in outside.The futons and towels were clean.It's very cheap, so if you can divide it, there's no problem.The staff are kind.The parking lot is not the nearest 800 yen parking lot, but there is a 500 yen parking lot on Saturdays and Sundays a little further down the road. On weekdays, it is 1,000 yen.

Late at night and early in the morning, the sound of plastic bags crunching and people getting ready made me feel stressed and sleep deprived. I wish there was a rule for people leaving early in the morning. Do you organize your luggage outside the room? The washroom is in the same room and it also makes noise in the morning, so I wonder if the toilet/shower + luggage storage room can be separated from the sleeping room? and. . I learned that if you get sick in order to save money, you are ruining your sightseeing trip.By the way, I didn't particularly notice the gloomy, creepy, or unclean water area mentioned by other people.

Location is great. It could be cleaner, bathroom wise in my room. There were some issues. Staff is only there sometimes and check-in is automated - if it works. The beds are comfortable though. Within minutes you get a nice view of Mount Fuji, which is great

I used it a week ago for the night before job hunting.After returning from dinner, I got to know the staff and customers at the bar inside the guesthouse and had a great time! !Alcohol was also reasonably priced and good.It was very helpful for me to be able to use the shared space even after checking out.If I have a chance, I will visit you again ☺️

There is a parking lot nearby that costs up to 800 yen, and there is a Family Mart within a short walk. I don't think it's bad for 2,600 yen since you can use the microwave and a coin laundry that costs about 400 yen. If you want to use the washlet restroom, there is one on the first floor, but it's next to the bar so it might be difficult to get to if there are other customers. I guess it can't be helped as a guesthouse that the curtains in the guest rooms can't really secure privacy. I asked for a hot breakfast sandwich for 500 yen at 5am and was given it. It's not much, but I think it'll be good. I didn't know how to turn on the lights and heat in my room on the first floor, and there were no lockers with keys, which was a bit of a problem. I had to carry a backpack with me both to enter the unit bath and to relax in the lobby. It was a weekday so it was empty (there was another person in the same room) so I felt comfortable, but if it was a holiday and it was crowded, I might quickly become dissatisfied.

I read other reviews, but I was quite satisfied. I didn't want to receive the services of a ryokan, and if I couldn't get a place to stay, I thought I'd just look for a place to sleep, so I'm generally satisfied.I was grateful that I was able to borrow the common space on the 1st floor to make coffee. I had a nice chat with Bacchus while drinking coffee, and although it was a guest house, it was manned, so I felt safe in case anything happened.This depends on the other guests staying on the same day, but the sound of people dashing up and down the stairs can be heard. It's only a few seconds, though. I think it's pretty good for someone who is used to traveling abroad as a backpacker.I'll come back later!
