In terms of service, this is the best hotel I have ever stayed at in any country. 10/10Absolutely stunning location, the staff are incredible. We were unfortunate in our planning and our international driver licence had expired so we couldn’t hire a car. This hotel went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing trip. It was like having our own private driver and tour guide. We were taken everywhere and anywhere we needed, dinners, Onsen and to the ski resort. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough.

The building, the environment, the preparation, the location, the scent, the time. You can feel the designer's intentions in everything, and lose yourself in the space and forget the passage of time. And creative dishes and sake that are full of flavor and fill you up.I won't say anything unnecessary. It was an auberge that you would want to visit throughout the year. thank you. Stayed in an executive twin room. A cozy space with warm wooden furniture, simple interior decoration, high-quality linens, and pajamas. In the lobby, you will fall in love with the wonderful space where you can relax, with candlelight and classical music playing with good acoustics.Some people disliked the lack of a TV, but I was very satisfied with the extravagant and luxurious time I had by playing my favorite songs on the mini speakers I brought with me.Recommended・There are not many open-air baths, so there is Meiho Onsen (10 minutes by car) nearby. Please note that it is open until 21:30.・In the summer, the river is right in front of you, so be sure to play in the river. Don't forget your marine shoes and life jacket・The river in front of the roadside station, which is a 3-minute walk away, is also beautiful.This is a hotel I would like to return to again.

I went there with my wife and our 0-year-old daughter, and it was a true luxury hotel where we enjoyed the rich food, the natural staff, and the timeless architecture and magnificent nature. I'm looking forward to visiting Genju again as it changes with the seasons and times!
