The boss is kind, the landlady is enthusiastic, the service staff carefully introduces the facilities, and the environment is clean. It is a rare B&B worth recommending.

Although it is a little far from the bus stop, it is located in a quiet residential area and the area around the accommodation is quiet. It is convenient to rent a bicycle for a fee and go to nearby restaurants, convenience stores, downtown areas, and sightseeing spots. I spent the evening chatting with fellow travelers.

I only remember being happy from the moment I arrived at the accommodation to the moment I left. It was good for quiet rest alone, and they provided a map of the neighborhood, so it was good for walking around without a plan. It's also recommended for those who come alone!! I’m not scared even if I walk around at night!!

We are staying here for our second time now. Yusuke and the team are so kind, accommodating, and our room is so beautiful! We love it here so much, and the area is walkable distance to great restaurants, Onsen hot baths, and a wonderful izakaya for homemade umeshu (plum wine) and drinks with small food plates. This has been our favorite place to stay in Japan so far! Don’t miss staying here and being in a local area with very beautiful Japanese culture 🙏🏽

While a fair distance off the beaten path, This quaint, clean, and quiet hostel is worth the extra bus that you’ll take to get to it.Everyone who worked there was lovely and warm. They really made the place stand out as inviting and special. The rooms are a bit small. But they are inviting, beautiful, and comfortable enough to overcome that minor setback.I put 4 stars for location more as a flag for distance from central touristy areas than a downsides. Not the party-style atmosphere some hostelers seek. But a lot of travellers are perfectly comfortable taking a bus to avoid the middle of the action. If a lovely little spot in a heart of a residential neighbourhood is what you’re after, stay here! Nearby are a few wonderful, if slightly expensive, cafes (my fave was Laughter) and bakeries (I could live on Tom Sawyer) to lighten your morning mood.If I ever go back to Kyoto, I’d love to stay here again.
