The inside of the hut is so clean that it doesn't feel like a mountain hut. Paid Wi-Fi, tea and hot water provided, Japanese-style toilets, etc. It was very comfortable.

The interior of the hut, located in the midst of a spectacular view, was beautiful and the food was very delicious. I had an irreplaceable experience deep in the mountains of the Northern Alps. Thank you very much 😊

If the route is easy to follow and you can walk for a long time, you can stay overnight along the way. This is a must-see hut if you are going around the Kurobe headwaters.By the time I get to this point, I feel refreshed. The previous owner of the Sugoroku huts was a photographer, and in order to keep his load as light as possible, he made sure that he didn't bring a packed lunch and instead had snacks at each mountain hut while hiking. You have to be careful about food poisoning from bento lunches, especially in the summer, and when the temperature is high, it can be painful to ingest solid foods.Nowadays, reservations are required, so it's not as crowded as it was 20 years ago. This year, 2023, there was not much rain, and the Chichibu sawa in Koike Shindo dried up and there was no water at all. I don't remember anything like this.

It is located on the curl side of Mt. Kurobegorodake, in a wetland in the valley between Mitsumata Renge and Mt. An essential location for climbing Kurobegorodake from the Mitamata side. That's why it's difficult to make reservations during the mid-summer season. The service level is the same in the Sugoroku Koya family. I appreciate that paper cups for gargling and hand towels are always available. The water is delicious and abundant. This dinner was tonkatsu and delicious. The lunch box was a flyer. The North Face collaboration t-shirt is popular.
