We stayed during the season when the autumn leaves were beautiful. From the moment I entered the inn, I was excited to explore the room as I was impressed by the thoughtful hospitality and attention to detail by the designer.Even though I had been looking at it for quite a while, I found new discoveries as I lay down and changed my line of sight, and I was able to enjoy it until the last moment of checking out.The accommodation was clean and well-equipped with dishes, washing machine (detergent, etc.). I was able to use the dryer and the cosmetics and other amenities were of good quality, so it was very helpful that I didn't have to bring much with me.We also asked them to prepare breakfast for us.The autumn leaves could be seen beautifully from the terrace on the second floor, so we had the sound of the river as background music. Some of the rice balls' ingredients seem to use ingredients from Hida, and they are all delicious, and I personally was happy to be able to choose between white or brown rice. When I was traveling, I often ended up overeating and was feeling a little bit heartburn, so the zaikorimori, rice balls, and miso soup were gentle on my stomach and intestines. The concierge contacted us even before the day of our stay and provided advice regarding our trip.I asked a wide range of questions, including autumn foliage spots that are within walking distance of the old townscape and recommended souvenirs for people in their 50s, and they answered them carefully.I had researched it online beforehand, but they told me about a lot of shops that I didn't know about, and thanks to them, my trip outside of the hotel was also very fulfilling. It seems that there are other inns that are managed other than Aoka, so I would like to visit them next time.Thank you very much for this time!

We rented out a house like a hideaway. We received an email from the concierge and they kindly responded. There were bicycles available for rent, and I was able to spend a relaxing and fun time walking around the old townscape of Takayama. It was a different style than usual, but there are other ways to stay like this! The breakfast rice balls were greatAlthough I didn't have the opportunity to meet the staff face to face, I can feel the thoughtfulness of the staff at this inn.

It was a luxurious inn, with interiors collected from all over the world, but with the comfort of a Japanese house.I was surprised by the tourist attractions in Hida Takayama and the number of visitors.Like Kanazawa and Kyoto, there are old townscapes with a typical Japanese atmosphere, and plenty of food and nature.I think Hida Takayama is a place you should go out of your way to visit.

From the entrance, the stylish and carefully designed interior was impressive. We had a relaxing and luxurious time drinking coffee and sake. The breakfast rice balls had a choice of toppings and brown/white rice, and the miso soup was also very delicious! It's about a 15-minute walk from the station, and you can walk to famous sightseeing spots such as the old townscape and morning market, so the location is great. It was a wonderful inn that made me love traveling to Hida Takayama 😌Thank you so much!

We went to Sumiya Aoka, which is within walking distance from the center of Takayama, where the old townscape still remains. Each and every piece of furniture was so fashionable that I was jealous of it, and I spent a lot of time exploring it after I arrived. It seems that her maximalist grandmother has passed down the collections she collected from Hida Takayama and around the world to the interior of the inn. The snow-covered streets of the good old days are beautiful, and the food you can eat while walking around is delicious and fun, making it a great tourist destination. Sukeharu's minced meat cutlet and Kitchen Hida's steak were tied for victory. Also, it was a completely non-face-to-face experience where I didn't meet the staff even once during my stay, so I was able to stay completely private and comfortable. That's not to say that there isn't hospitality; the concierge will be happy to tell you anything via email. He even gave us recommendations on restaurants and ski resorts. Overall, I was impressed, so when I build a house in the future, I plan to completely copy this inn.
