The hotel is quite outdated and requires renovation. However, the front desk staff and service are excellent. Given the price of the hotel, I expected more modern amenities and updates. It would be beneficial for the hotel to invest in improvements to enhance the overall guest experience. Consider kid-friendly option meals. Thank you for considering this feedback.

I used it for 1 night and 2 days. The customer service was kind and courteous from the moment I checked in.However, the room lacked a sense of cleanliness, the washroom and bath smelled very musty, the back of the toilet seat was covered in urine stains even before we used it, and there were spider webs in the corners. I was surprised at how many places were dirty. There was a piece of paper with the name of the person who cleaned it and the fact that it was an old hotel so they were working hard on cleaning and customer service, but I didn't think they were putting a lot of effort into cleaning the rooms. Although it can't be helped that the wallpaper is patchy because it's old, I think it could be cleaned better. I was very disappointed as I expected it to be clean. It was written on the paper that if anything happened, I should call the front desk, but there were so many places that I couldn't do anything during my stay. The food for both dinner and breakfast was delicious and the quantity was just right, and the staff was kind and attentive. The timing for it to come out was just right. The bathroom was empty when I took a morning bath, so I was able to comfortably enter the bathroom by myself. The sulfur spring felt good. I thought it was very flexible to be able to use the public bath even during the night. There is an open-air bath, but it is enclosed and you cannot see anything outside, so it was impossible to take a bath while enjoying the view. I couldn't find anything like hairbrushes in the women's bath, but the men's bath apparently had them.

I was finally able to go to Oku-Nikko, which I had always wanted to visit. It was very relaxing, with delicious food, comfortable hot springs, rich nature, and even an encounter with wild deer in the morning.
