Visited October 11, 2024If you go by car, the location is fine.I felt that it would be the best hotel for that price if each room had its own air conditioner and if they could vacuum the dust from the ventilation fan and clean it. I was impressed by how reasonable the price of the vending machine was. The 300 yen charge for Kirin Hyouketsu is pretty low at most business hotels around here (I've attached an image). After reading past reviews and having many concerns, here we go!The air conditioning is centrally managed (I've attached a picture of one from the Showa era), so if you don't have the central heating and cooling running, you'll end up staying hot or cold in each room. On the day I stayed, it was cold in the mornings and evenings, but there was no heating, so cold air came out, and I could only choose between high, medium, and low airflow. The dust on the ventilation fan was intolerable, so I turned it off quickly. There were a lot of people from other countries in the reviews, but I didn't meet any of them on the day.The bathhouse is built in a warehouse style, so the ceiling is high, so it may feel cold in the coming months.↓ Regarding the points that some people had problems with in past reviews.○The hallway leading to the bathhouse from inside the room to outside is dark. When I went outside, the lights were installed. In conclusion, I had no hesitation or fear at all.○The person in question was probably working at the front desk. In conclusion, I felt that he was just trying to have a smooth check-in with his own routine. The hotel itself is a fine Japanese-style inn, but once it went out of business, it was opened as a business hotel without the space. If you are used to staying there, why would you expect such hospitality from a hotel where you can stay at that price? It felt like that. Don't get irritated, just check in with his routine first and ask questions later! I think it's good for both of us. In fact, there are explanation signs everywhere, so I didn't have to worry about it.In conclusion, I felt that it would be a perfect opportunity to show off the size of this vessel.

Beautiful hotel, the onsen are magnificent and very pleasant. On the ground floor, a manga space quite impressive for a hotel is available to have a good time.

Source name: Kinugawa/Kawaji Onsen Tourism Development No. 1 and 2 and Oharasawa City source mixed springpH value: 9.0Spring quality: Alkaline simple hot springStayed alone on weekdays. Reception starts from 16:00. Amenities and yukatas are taken from the front floor. The room is about 15 tatami mats in size. A half-bed spring-type futon in a Japanese-style room. It seems to be a smoking room and there is a slight smell of cigarettes.Personally, the high point is the number of outlets! There were 13 usable electrical outlets. I was surprised that there were so many🤣After a long process of taking the elevator to the 1st floor, putting on your sandals, going through the hallway, exiting the emergency exit, going outside, and then going to the large bath, you finally reach the large bath. There is one indoor bath in the center and one smaller outdoor bath. I went in once in the evening and once in the morning, but no one else came. An unexpectedly exclusive bath!Since it's Kinugawa Onsen, it's a simple hot spring + disinfection, so the hot spring itself doesn't have much of a special feature, but the view of the outdoor bath overlooking the forest and the high roof architecture of the indoor bath are wonderful. However, the view from the outdoor bath is best in the bright mornings and evenings, and at night it's pitch black, so it feels like a bit of a test of courage🤣I enjoyed that as well🤣Alternatively, you can take books back to your room and read them. Since this is a room only room, there is a microwave. Also, you can get a bathing ticket to the large public bath at Kinugawa Plaza Hotel by asking at the front desk. Transportation and bathing are now free.Personally, I think that 5,400 yen is quite a good value for money.

Very nice hotel. It's fairly far from the station (about a 15 minute walk) but the views are nice and so is the onsen. There is a public bath guests can use for free and private baths that can be reserved. The rooms are very spacious and clean and were surprisingly clean given the size.Overall a very good experience

Service at the front desk is poor. The price was cheap and the bath was nice.Maybe I was lucky, but I took a bath a few times, and I was satisfied with being able to take a private bath without meeting other people. The room was spacious and had a great view.

If you are looking for a cheap and nice hotel in Kinugawa area, Hotel Otaki is a perfect choice for you. Building itself is quite old but neat. We really liked the hotspring they have. It seems that reformed recently. You can feel nature at outside bath. They also have a Manga room nearby reveption.

Reasonable and sufficient ✨Although it is a single room, it is a large room with two beds. There is a bath in the room, but the communal bath in a different building is also beautiful. Although it is not very large, there is also an open-air bath, which can be reserved for private use depending on the time of day.
