I stayed here because I wanted to take a bath in a hot spring that is only open to hotel guests and I wanted to play with cats!Cat is not the friendly type...She didn't let me touch her much during touch time🥲Sad.Hot springs are irresistible for sulfur loversIt was a little hot and dark.Takao no Yu / mountain stream open-air bathThis is my second time because I can take a day trip bath.Great location for open-air bathOf course, the quality of the springs 🙆🏼‍♀️Handan hot water/rock bathThe time for women and men is differentI had the impression that the spring quality was slimy and the water was slowly working 🥺Personally, I like it quite a lot.It seems to be good for wounds and stomach.Takara no Yu/Hinoki bathIt is said to be effective for infertility and to be blessed with children...I made a wish and got a lot lolThe interior of the room is historical, just as you would expect. The food also gave the impression of an old-fashioned inn. It's a great inn if you're not concerned about food or rooms, but are looking for the quality of the spring water, bringing your pet, or wanting to meet cats.

I used it for both day trip bathing and overnight stay.--Day trip bath--Definitely ⭐︎5.The spring quality is cloudy sulfur spring. This is an irresistible hot spring for those who love sulfur springs. Both the indoor bath and the open-air bath are beautiful, and the view from the open-air bath is full of nature, and you can hear the sound of the river clearly.--stay--The rooms are quite old and cannot be called clean. The meal is ⭐︎1😱However, there are two baths that only guests can use, so if you're interested, it might be a good idea to stay overnight. There are a lot of cats in the lobby and they are very cute. However, she's not a very friendly cat, and it's hard for people to let me touch her🥲

Thank you for your help about 5 times.A tasteful appearance. The hot spring is a large bathtub. Needless to say, the quality of the spring water is excellent. (For me) It's just so quiet. Forget the silence and slowly soak in the hot water.Even a short time like that is a blissful time for me. If you come here from a long distance, I hope you will come in a planned manner. When I lived in the suburbs of Utsunomiya, I visited this hot spring several times, and it's one of my favorite hot springs because it's so quiet. I would like to stay there at least once. Even though I usually use it for day trips... I gave it a ``3'' because there was no room service.

Hidden hot springs in ShiobaraRecommended for its white cloudy hot springs and hot spring treatments. The open-air bath is along the river, so the view is nice.

Since it is located deep in the mountains, there are no convenience stores or shops around, and only a few souvenirs are sold inside the building, so if you want to eat sweets, we recommend buying them at a convenience store before coming. There is a clear stream in front of the hotel, and you can walk right next to it. If you look closely, you can see fish (rainbow trout or yamame trout), and just watching the water flow was soothing. The hot springs were nigori-yu and the best. The food was delicious and I was satisfied.I went with my wife and our Chihuahua, and she also wants to go.The building was old and the washlet in the toilet was broken and there were a few small complaints, but overall it was good enough that I was able to make up for it and get some change.

Hot springs are nice. If anything, I prefer the Ebisu shop next door.

I stopped by on my way home from staying at Ebisuya and took a bath. The quality of the spring water was excellent, but the temperature of the water was a bit lukewarm and required a long bath. There were about 4 to 5 cats relaxing in the front lobby.

I stayed in a pet-friendly room with my medium-sized dog. The room had a large gauge, a toilet seat, and a rice plate, so it was convenient and had all the necessary things (there was also a large cat tower, although I didn't use it). There was also a fence at the entrance to the room to prevent escape. There are a lot of cats in the lobby, but they didn't get into fights with the dogs unless you got close to them.I was satisfied with the meals served in my room and the three hot springs, and I was able to relax while looking at the scenery. Most of the employees are elderly and foreign, so I think it's best to take this into consideration when requesting services. Also, as it is said to be a hidden hot spring, it is located deep in the mountains, and you have to climb a narrow mountain path, so it would be best to get there while the weather is bright and sunny. There was a cell phone signal, but Wi-Fi was prone to poor connectivity. Card payments can be made by VISA and AMEX.

I saw the signboard in the car, drove further into the area, and wondered if there was a hot spring inn in a place like this. Just when I was starting to feel anxious, a signboard finally appeared. It may be difficult for those who use the bus to walk.A warm sulfur spring is a blessing in midsummer. It's lukewarm but warm. I would like to visit in the middle of winter, but what about snow?Since it was during a typhoon, there was no one around, so I was able to bathe on my own. I was happy to see that the receptionist (I think) who was there when I visited about 10 years ago was still sitting there.
