My husband and I were looking for a relaxing trip to Kinugawa Onsen, and we were impressed by the hotel's nice atmosphere and hearth-grilled meals, so we made a reservation! When I headed there, I found that it was like an unexplored area, and I took a train and a shuttle bus from Kinugawa Onsen Station. On the shuttle bus, there were explanations about the various areas, which was fun. Reservations are required for the shuttle vehicle once a day.Although the inn is a little old, the staff were polite and made us feel welcome. There are 3 hot springs that you can bathe in, and there is also a private bath available for a fee!The hot springs are alkaline hot springs that make you feel smooth. The public bath also had a small sauna! Since the hot springs are off-peak, we were happy to be able to spend most of our time privately.Meals were served around a hearth in a private room, and the meat and fish were very delicious, with the main ingredients being ingredients from the mountain. The bar master was also very chatty and we enjoyed drinking. I was happy because I had a full breakfast with the gozen meal. Both breakfast and dinner had free refills of rice and miso soup. The room is along the river, and the windows are full of mountains and greenery! It was lit up at night and looked very mysterious. Also, if I have a chance, I would like to visit you.Thank you very much 😊

It feels quite old. Every time I went to the bathroom, the floor made a loud noise. After leaving the bath, the milky lotion in the wash basin was not refilled until the end. There was also no sink in the bathroom on the second floor. I was impressed by how well the foreign staff worked. There was one Japanese waiter who was unpleasant.
