First of all, I like hot springs. The water is fed directly from the source and the sulfur is strong. The ingredients seem to be good. There are two public baths (indoor and open-air baths) and medicinal baths (indoor white bath), but both were of a satisfying level of quality. This is 5500 yen per person for two people, which is very satisfying. This is what I was looking for. There are almost no natural hot springs in or around Tokyo, the ingredients are often not very good, and famous tourist spots are too expensive to go to. It's different here. Moreover, there is a hiking spot near here that is so beautiful that the Ministry of the Environment is promoting it! There's also a lake nearby...it's great...

Honestly, I chose the accommodation based on the price. My wife's favorite area is Oku-Nikko, and we have visited Lake Yunoko and Yumoto Onsen many times, but we wanted to stay there at least once, so we made a reservation during the fall foliage season. All the inns are in high season, so the prices are quite expensive...(I wish I had noticed this)I knew there were no brand new accommodations in this area, but I didn't expect the facilities to feel this old.And the lack of cleanliness cannot compensate for its age.The bath (hot water only) is of excellent quality, but I can't say anything else about it.Particularly meaningless check-in and check-out systemIt's hard to understand how to use it, there's no staff to explain it to you, and there's no explanatory text.Unfortunately in my case, the check-in process started without the previous customer's information being reset, and the previous customer's personal information was displayed on my smartphone app...The information also included payment instructions, and I felt like I was about to pay for another customer. When checking out, some customers check out normally at the front desk while others use the provided tablet to check out.It would be nice if it was also a key return box and you could leave without interacting with the staff, but in the end there is a mysterious system where you return the key to the front staff...In addition, the young staff will help you with salt at check-in.No information on yukata or amenitiesNo information on the location of the elevator to the guest room, large bath, dinner venue, or breakfast venue.Regarding other measures... I would like a little more education. The coronavirus has calmed down, tourists have returned, and there is a trend towards raising prices in the world, so we need to check the prices of lodging properly. The free drinks (including alcohol) that came with the bonus weren't very appealing (half of the beer servers were broken, there was no sake), and the food (dinner and breakfast) was also unsatisfying. Also, it may be appealing to day trip hot spring visitors, but I don't feel that they are attentive to the guests by staying open past the check-in time and even past the dinner time. And there's also an open-air bath that's great for photos...Prices are reasonable compared to surrounding accommodations

There are various things I think about, but I think it can't be helped if it's around 12,000 yen.I think it would be nice if the lighting was a little brighter overall, but I guess it would be difficult due to the budget.I thought it would be nice if the water areas and carpets were clean.

day trip1000 yenReception from 15:00 to 18:00 (I think it depends on the day, so it is recommended to check in advance)Shampoo and conditioner includedHair dryer availableBasic cosmetics availableTap water availableWater supply space available (outside the changing room. Coffee and water)No mini towel providedValuables locker missingIndoor bath and outdoor bath. I am very grateful that reception is possible until 18:00. There are several places that are open until around 5pm and are recommended for sightseeing, but they all have major drawbacks, so I'd like to come here even if it's a little expensive. (Not being allowed to relax, not being able to supply water, hot water being dirty, etc.)The negative is that there are places where the hot water is thicker. This probably depends on the day as well. It's a great place to come even after hiking or mountain climbing.By the way, if you complain about the faucet here, you won't be able to complain about it anywhere else in the hot spring. He is a person who functions excellently in the Yumoto.

This was my child's accommodation for a school event. I was told that the food was terrible, so I looked at the photo and it looked like it was just a random assortment of frozen foods. …

2023.10.24 Thank you for your help on the motorcycle touring from Kansai. Considering the location, you can stay overnight without meals, sleep alone in a Japanese-style room, and enjoy the hot springs, all of which are reasonably priced even during the fall foliage season. This was the perfect accommodation for me, as I was planning to arrive in Nikko at night and go around Mitaki to Toshogu Shrine early the next morning.

I was very satisfied. The smell of sulfur came from around the hotel and the hot springs were amazing. The water will become cloudy and your skin will become smooth, ensuring a long bath. All the meals were delicious. The abalone was tender and the crab had plenty of meat. As a tuna lover, I was very happy with the meat, which was very good, and the sashimi, which came in three types: lean, medium-fatty, and large-fatty. The room was large and the tatami mats were blue. I didn't mind laying out the futon myself because I didn't want anyone to come into the room, but the futon was a little heavy. The room and the inside of the building were old, but they were kept clean and I didn't feel uncomfortable. Check-in takes time, so I think it's better to arrive early or at a different time. There is no air conditioning, but Oku-Nikko is very cool.I was able to sleep without feeling hot.The only smoking area is next to the entrance.

I used it at a day trip hot spring ♨️The price is 1,000 yen for adults and 700 yen for children. There are two indoor bathtubs and one open-air bath.Although the equipment is old, there is no problem with using it. There is also a parking lot (gravel) and a smoking area (outdoor). The in-room vending machines have a wide variety of drinks, and are reasonably priced for a mountain top. However, even at the highest temperature, the shower was lukewarm and the bathtub was hot (you can adjust the temperature of the bathtub with water). And since Irohazaka is the only road for people to get there, it gets crowded during the fall foliage season, and it gets snowy in the winter.Even with all of these factors in mind, I think you should definitely visit at least once!
