Today was the second night of my Hokkaido adventure and I couldn't get to my campsite in time so I found this place on Google maps and it was pretty awesome :) I decided not to get the breakfast but dinner was great I had some beef and eggs over rice it really hit the spot plus the whole place is just beautiful very traditional Japanese inn , the lady at the counter even helped me retrieve a coin from underneath the vending machine which was super nice of her lol , the young man at the cafeteria helped me order even though he couldn't speak English so he was awesome a very fun person! The bath was simple and traditional and they gave me a robe and soap and shampoo and toothpaste and a toothbrush! The room was a smoking room I didn't really mind tho and it was simple tatami mat with futon , tv , fridge , little table in the middle, absolutely wonderful would go again if I'm ever in the area :) thank you so much for housing me !!

There are idiots who talk loudly in their rooms. There's an idiot who walks down the hallway making a lot of noise. There are idiots who slam doors loudly. The walls are thin so you can hear everything. This is the worst accommodation. The whole place is old and dirty. The room smelled musty and had no air conditioner. The toilets are shared and dirty. The public bath is small, dirty, and the temperature control is a mess. A carved man is taking a bath with a proud look on his face. Since there is no competition around them, they probably don't have the mindset to be creative and entertain customers. I would never come if it wasn't for work. It's the worst.

Since it is an old-fashioned hot spring, the hot spring equipment is traditional. The location is good, but it feels relatively crowded since it's close to a large roadside station.

I was able to stay at a reasonable price. It was convenient to have access to a hot spring.
