Very spacious room and everything about “omotenashi- hospitality “ is there. Highlights are delicious course dinner and traditional breakfast in the private room. Hot springs in both indoor and outdoor, and their beautiful garden and access to the Kinugawa river.Their small gift shop has several local stuff. It’s a few minutes walk from the station and no need to worry about taxi or shuttle!!!Love everything about this ryokan. Would love to return in future.

It was a short walk from Moyori Station. I reserved a room with an open-air bath. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious. I was able to stay at a reasonable price because I was able to get a discount if I booked several months in advance. There are some foreigners coming here, so the rooms are damaged in some places, but I guess it can't be helped.

I stayed for one night with two meals included. The food was delicious and the quantity was just right, and the person who served me was a nice person and I was very satisfied. The welcome at check-in was polite and gave a good impression. However, as mentioned in other reviews, there was definitely a musty smell as soon as I entered. In the case of the room I stayed in this time, the room smelled more musty than the hallway. Also, I could see the men's open-air bath from my room. ⚠️It's an old inn😰😨

The hotel is relatively old, has a strong musty smell, and the decoration is very unique. There is a study and conversation room with many dead bugs in it. The hot springs and food are okay, but the smell of sewerage in the room is very strong.

Just get off the station, the station staff said. I was on a five-car road and saw a signboard on a shabby building, so I was scared and wanted to go home, but this inn was at the end of a steep slope. There are many closed buildings in the surrounding area, and the social situation is poor. The room I was taken to was along the Kinugawa River and I could see the white mountain stream from the large window, and it was carefully cleaned. The room was very spacious and well-equipped, and I saw that it was built at a great expense. The food was delicious, as the head chef was very particular about, and the dishes on which the food was served were very nice and tasteful. The quality of the water was so good that my skin was so smooth that I took a bath three times from arriving after 3:00 to leaving at 10:00 the next day. I want to go again!

Mid-size old school ryokan hotel with 7 floors by the riverside with a quaint garden with koi fish. Lovely outdoor Onsen where you can peep through the trees to the river. A bit disappointing the bath houses weren’t swapped overnight so that I could experience both. Pretty clean facilities although everything felt a bit dated and old now in need of restoration to freshen it up. Highlight is the food (dinner & brekky) - intricately prepared and extremely tasty - hugg quality produce and subtle flavours. Very comfy room & futon bedding. Good value for money.
