The food is not tasty. (Excuse me)My husband and I couldn't find anything delicious in the morning or evening. But! The good thing about this inn is that I tried to find a random inn on the day and stay there, but the next day, online reservations for all the inns ended at 3pm, and if you made a reservation by phone, the price would be much higher than online. I was hesitant, but this inn is the only one that accepts online reservations until late! Therefore, I made a reservation at Kegon Falls for 5pm, moved quickly, and thought there were no restaurants near the hotel where I could eat, so I grabbed two meals. Now that I think about it, I could have just finished eating somewhere else and gone. However, it was a private room and I was able to get plenty of food and vegetables for the kids, so it was nice to be able to eat warm food in the cold. The room was guaranteed to be on the valley side and was spacious and renovated, which was very nice. The view is also very good on the higher floors. It's a fairly old hotel, so if you're planning to stay, we recommend a renovated room. The toilet was clean and there was also a shower room. The public bath is also old, but it is very nice that it is open 24 hours a day! Also, the private bath was available for up to 50 minutes, so it was the first time for me and my child to take a bath together, and the kids seemed to be having fun, so it was great. On a rainy day, it would be quite a 5-minute walk, but since it was a sunny day, I enjoyed walking and looking at the starry sky.A public bath is located within the building. What's more, I made a sudden reservation, and even though the price was cheap, when I came back from the bath, there was a futon laid out for me...!I'm impressed by this. So, I thought it would be best to stay overnight without meals since the rooms with open-air baths are also cheaper than the average price in the surrounding area.As long as it wasn't too late at night, we could probably get a meal in front of the station, and there was also a convenience store (my husband and I ended up saying that the food might be better at a convenience store). There seems to be a bakery in front of the station in the morning, so you can stay overnight without meals! It also says that check-in is accepted until 11pm.And the people at the hostel were so kind!Having one key is a bit of a hassle.I also thought it would be nice to have a bath basket or bag for going to the private bath.Although the facilities are old and you have to carry your luggage to your room by yourself, you can soak in the hot springs for a cheap price. At first, I had excluded it from the list after seeing the negative reviews, but in the end, I found out that if you stay overnight without meals and it's cheap, it's definitely worth it.That's what I said.So I don't really know whether it's a negative review or a compliment.I hope the inn continues to do its best, but if they don't improve the food, I'm afraid there won't be many repeat customers. Also, just in the bathroom area, there were two places where the battery was dead or the fluorescent light was out, and it was flickering all the time, which was scary, so I thought it would be a good idea to fix it.However, thank you very much for suddenly accepting me and preparing a hot meal for me! (Sorry for writing honestly...)However, the rooms are now clean, and the hotel is still open even after being hit by the heavy rain disaster in 2015, so I think that if improvements are made little by little, the hotel will be loved by people who want to support them. I thought so!
