Kinugawa Onsen, you can clearly see the flow of the river from the window of the Plaza Hotel, and you can enjoy the autumn leaves in a little while. It's a shame that I saw some dilapidated hotels❗️

I stayed in a room directly above the river. From there, you could see the valley and it was like looking at a painting. The room is luxuriously constructed. The ceiling is probably Sukiya style. It was amazing. The corridors of the building are well decorated and beautiful. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet. The taste was a bit strong and spicy for me. I put the food on a tray and carried it to my seat, but there were stairs along the way and the width was irregular, so I had to be very careful not to fall. There may be complaints about the room key being old, but that doesn't bother me. It's just a matter of "matching."

The food is not tasty. (Excuse me)My husband and I couldn't find anything delicious in the morning or evening. But! The good thing about this inn is that I tried to find a random inn on the day and stay there, but the next day, online reservations for all the inns ended at 3pm, and if you made a reservation by phone, the price would be much higher than online. I was hesitant, but this inn is the only one that accepts online reservations until late! Therefore, I made a reservation at Kegon Falls for 5pm, moved quickly, and thought there were no restaurants near the hotel where I could eat, so I grabbed two meals. Now that I think about it, I could have just finished eating somewhere else and gone. However, it was a private room and I was able to get plenty of food and vegetables for the kids, so it was nice to be able to eat warm food in the cold. The room was guaranteed to be on the valley side and was spacious and renovated, which was very nice. The view is also very good on the higher floors. It's a fairly old hotel, so if you're planning to stay, we recommend a renovated room. The toilet was clean and there was also a shower room. The public bath is also old, but it is very nice that it is open 24 hours a day! Also, the private bath was available for up to 50 minutes, so it was the first time for me and my child to take a bath together, and the kids seemed to be having fun, so it was great. On a rainy day, it would be quite a 5-minute walk, but since it was a sunny day, I enjoyed walking and looking at the starry sky.A public bath is located within the building. What's more, I made a sudden reservation, and even though the price was cheap, when I came back from the bath, there was a futon laid out for me...!I'm impressed by this. So, I thought it would be best to stay overnight without meals since the rooms with open-air baths are also cheaper than the average price in the surrounding area.As long as it wasn't too late at night, we could probably get a meal in front of the station, and there was also a convenience store (my husband and I ended up saying that the food might be better at a convenience store). There seems to be a bakery in front of the station in the morning, so you can stay overnight without meals! It also says that check-in is accepted until 11pm.And the people at the hostel were so kind!Having one key is a bit of a hassle.I also thought it would be nice to have a bath basket or bag for going to the private bath.Although the facilities are old and you have to carry your luggage to your room by yourself, you can soak in the hot springs for a cheap price. At first, I had excluded it from the list after seeing the negative reviews, but in the end, I found out that if you stay overnight without meals and it's cheap, it's definitely worth it.That's what I said.So I don't really know whether it's a negative review or a compliment.I hope the inn continues to do its best, but if they don't improve the food, I'm afraid there won't be many repeat customers. Also, just in the bathroom area, there were two places where the battery was dead or the fluorescent light was out, and it was flickering all the time, which was scary, so I thought it would be a good idea to fix it.However, thank you very much for suddenly accepting me and preparing a hot meal for me! (Sorry for writing honestly...)However, the rooms are now clean, and the hotel is still open even after being hit by the heavy rain disaster in 2015, so I think that if improvements are made little by little, the hotel will be loved by people who want to support them. I thought so!

I stayed here for work. The sightseeing bus will enter at the traffic light diagonally past the Kinugawa Kanko Hotel sign. If you enter from the Kinugawa Kanko Hotel sign, you will not be able to turn right at the hotel rotary.Since we arrived at 8:30 pm, we didn't have dinner.I had read everyone's comments, so I headed to the hotel with a certain level of preparedness. The person at the front desk is also a foreigner, but they respond politely. There is also a shop between the front desk and the elevator.I was a little lost trying to find the room I stayed in. When I exited the elevator, there was a number displayed, but when I went in that direction, it wasn't there. When I was unsure, I asked my teacher who was on the school trip, but he didn't even have it written on his handout. When I finally found it, I thought maybe that room number was for the crew. The room has been rehomed, so I'm totally OK with it.The bath is big and they even stock shaving cream. However, I didn't like it when other people wore my slippers in the bathroom, so I would appreciate it if you could take care of the number tags.Breakfast is a buffet, but there are a fair number of items...I think it's nice to have tables made to look like each room, but it's hard to find an empty one. The Kansai people who were eating next to me were complaining while eating breakfast, which was unpleasant. Even though there is a shortage of manpower in today's world, we are doing our best to manage the business. If you know Kinugawa during the bubble era, you will think so.The floor looks like cobblestones, so it may be difficult for elderly people to walk. Being in a wheelchair is difficult. The bus parking lot is less than a 10 minute walk, and there is also a hotel shuttle. (Near Kinugawa Kanko Hotel) There is also a water supply 🚰.Personally, I have no problems with this hotel. Please continue to do your best to make Kinugawa Onsen a popular tourist destination.

Source name: Kinugawa/Kawaji Onsen Tourism Development No. 1 and 2 and Oharasawa City source mixed springpH value: 8.7Spring quality: Alkaline simple hot springVisited around 7pm on weekdays.I stayed at Hotel Otaki so I used this for free. The public bath has a special structure, with a wooden bridge spanning the large hot bath. A style with a curl behind it. There is also a lukewarm bath next to the hot bath. However, I didn't really understand the difference in temperature between hot water and lukewarm water just by their names. There is also an open-air bath. If you come when it's daylight, you'll be able to enjoy the spectacular view. There is also a sauna and cold bath.Kinugawa Onsen is basically a simple hot spring and is also sterilized, so the hot water has no special characteristics. However, I like the view here, the special structure, and the effort put into it.Tea and water facilities are also available. The front floor was full of souvenir shops and rest areas. This is an inn I would like to stay at someday.

I was satisfied because the room was clean and spacious, and the view was great. The meals are mainly Japanese, and I like that there are a lot of vegetables.Although the number of items was small, I was satisfied that I could eat in peace. The public bath is not very large.

It has the feel of a Showa-era hotel and inn. From the window of my room, I could see the huge ruined hotel, the Kinugawa Valley, the bridge that spans the valley, and the Kinuko footbath next to it. It is shocking to think that Kinugawa Onsen, which was once popular for a long time, has become so deserted. I can't help but wish Plaza Hotel all the best in the future.
