After walking around Toshogu Shrine in Nikko, I decided I wanted to go to Utsunomiya, so I looked it up on Google and made a reservation over the phone. The room was larger than I expected and I felt comfortable without feeling pressured. All the staff members were kind and courteous. It's very convenient as it's right next to the west exit of Utsunomiya Station, and there's a 7-Eleven nearby.I would like to use it again if I have a chance...

I arrived much earlier than the scheduled check-in time, but the staff responded quickly and I was able to check in smoothly. Much obliged. The tea service for dinner was also very delicious. The morning buffet was of course delicious. I would like to use it again. Thank you for your help.

It was my first time going there, and the staff at the front desk and restaurant were very friendly and made me feel very comfortable.Morning (Japanese/Western) is highly recommended. It's basically a buffet, but they also have unique items like donuts, gyoza, Sano ramen, and French toast, so I ended up eating twice as much as usual. This is a recommended hotel that I would like to use again if I ever stay in Utsunomiya.

I was surprised to see how Utsunomiya, especially the west exit, has changed since I last visited the city in more than 10 years. At that time, it was still dark, there was a suspicious atmosphere, and there was no Yodobashi. There was the long-established Minmin, but the new Bariron was not. It is still a gyoza town. There is no doubt that it is the best gyoza culture in Japan. H City and M City should follow suit! I want to say.Well, this time I stopped by for some business on my way back from a trip to Hokkaido, so I thought a suitable place would be fine as long as it was close to the station. However, contrary to my expectations, I found it to be a very good hotel.During my active career, I stayed at many hotels both in Japan and abroad, but this time was by far the most comfortable. I think the rating would have been 4, but I added a few extras and gave it a 5. Actually, it was better than the 4 star in Sapporo.First of all, the size of the room (twin). It's rare to see curtains that reach from the ceiling to the floor and extend all the way to the wall. The amenities are fairly well-stocked, and it's unusual for them to have bath salts. As a late-night snack service, the sea bream chazuke is also delicious. It was my first time to experience a service like this and I was very impressed.Although the entrance and lobby are a little small, the interior of the hotel, including the courtyard features, exudes a sense of luxury and cleanliness. This is an extremely satisfying hotel with good value for money. If you're in Utsunomiya, choose Richmond!(I'm not Sakura. This is my personal opinion.)
