I stopped by on my way back from Harazuru Onsen to see what it was like. When you enter, there is a building that looks like an administration building on the way, and the road immediately turns into a dead end, and there is a slope of a mountain on the left. Apparently, if you walk up to the top, there is a camping place. I came here thinking it was a park, but there was nothing there. To my dismay, a person who appeared to be a manager came and knocked on the window, telling me that this was a managed property, so if you didn't want to stay, please leave...right away. What do you all think? In a place that calls itself a park...? If it's only for campers, shouldn't it be called a park and should the information board just say campsite? No one will come now! It's a shame, considering that this is an area that has been protected with a huge amount of tax money.

weekday day campI was aloneThe sky is in the shade with almost no sunlight due to the branches and leaves of the trees.I brought a tent and tarp, but I didn't use them, and the table, chairs, and bonfire were enough to soothe me.Enjoy watching movies with U-NEXTAnt repellent spray may be necessary

I stayed for 2 nights on a weekday during summer vacation with a same-day reservation. We had to change the campsite we had planned because the area along the river was not available. I thought it would be full because it was summer vacation, but there were people using the bungalows, but there were about 10 tent sites, but there were no users. The explanations are thorough and kind. The toilet at the tent site has been renovated into a Western style and is comfortable and clean, with almost no spider webs or insects. The kitchen is spacious, well lit and easy to use. There are terraced slope sections, and one is not large, but there is enough space. At night, there are lights around the booth (it's quite bright), but you have to go down to the river, but the surrounding area is shallow and there are no deep places, so it's safe for junior high school students and above. The water is ideal for swimming at a depth that is impossible to swim in. There is only one vending machine, there are no convenience stores nearby, and there are only showers (the public bathing facility is about a 15 minute drive), so do your shopping in advance. The shop has more firewood (recommended to buy here) and rental items than merchandise. The downside is lifting luggage from the car, which is difficult. You can't use a trolley because it's a staircase. Let's exercise. Also, although there were few flying insects, there were many ants. Take measures to prevent them from entering your tent.

Reservations can only be made by phone, it's not a car camp, and the toilet is far away, so I don't think strange people can come 🤫✨Camping in the mountains ⛺ is recommended 💡
