Due to the location, we recommend staying only for people who will be traveling around by car as they have to climb a long hill. Will prices increase the most in Fairfield in the country? A normal room for one night costs about 70,000 yen. Well, it's a business, so it can't be helped.

🌳Location: The hotel is not located on the main street of Nikko. It is about 2 kilometers away from Tobu Nikko Station. It is uphill all the way from Tobu Nikko Station. The slope is quite steep. It will be difficult to walk with luggage. It costs about 800 to take a taxi in front of the station. -1000yen (there are 3 traffic lights along the way, the more red lights you stop at, the higher the fare). However, it is downhill all the way from the hotel to the station, so it is suitable to walk directly there, which takes about 15-20 minutes. There is a stop sign for the Tobu Bus Kirifuge-Kogen Line near the hotel (Marumi Station, and the nearby landmark is the Igarashi Lacquerware Co., Ltd. Factory). Unfortunately, the Kirifuge-Kogen Line has very few buses, making it inconvenient.Another option is to ride a shared bicycle. HELLO CYCLING has lending and return points at the entrance of the hotel parking lot and in front of the station. The current fee is 200 yen/15 minutes, which may not be more affordable than taxis for passengers traveling with many people.🌳Facilities: The facilities in the hotel are novel and the standard rooms are quite spacious and can fully open two 26-inch suitcases. There is self-service washing and drying equipment in the museum.🌳Catering: There is no restaurant attached to the museum, but there is a tea and coffee bar (coffee machine, tea bags, miso soup bags) in the lobby on the first floor. There is also a spacious lounge and dining area, where you can bring your own meals back to the hotel to enjoy.🌳High card member benefits (Platinum Check-in): Only active late check-out until 1 o'clock (because the schedule required leaving Nikko before noon, I did not try to check out later), and there is no room upgrade🥲

A beautiful hotel with nice staff - thats the reason why five stars. The hotel is two kilometers uphill from the main train station/center. The last bus runs at three o'clock from center. Very basic amenities, offering only a basic room (but beautiful one in Japanese style) and tea, coffee and instant miso soup (not vegan) you can find it in the lobby.

The stay was all comfy and wonderful until a group of tourists checked in. Their tour guide was speaking at the top of her lungs and her annoying voice penetrated basically every corner of the lobby. The staff, in the meantime, did nothing to stop her and allowed her to turn the whole lobby into her own party. This is supposed to be a hotel, not a budget hostel, but it seems that the staff member was aware of that

The hotel is of stable quality. However, it might be better to stay near the Kinugawa River to enjoy the hot springs.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. There is also a laundry room, which is convenient for long-term guests, but please note that the currency exchange machine is broken and currency exchange is not available at the front desk.We recommend bringing coins with you when using the laundry. When I told the staff that I didn't have any coins, a male staff member told me to go to town and get some coins. However, after waiting for a while, another female staff member approached me and exchanged some coins that happened to be kept in the back.Basically, it is best to assume that you will not be able to exchange money.I often use Marriott hotels, but this was my first time experiencing this kind of treatment, and I learned a lot.Additionally, there is no cafeteria or restaurant within the hotel, so you will need to bring your own food.Snacks and drinks are sold in the space next to the front desk, so you can buy something simple, but it's best to plan and prepare your meals in advance.
