This is my impression as a local. Although it is located a few minutes from the Haki Interchange on the expressway and within walking distance from the Haki bus stop, where express buses from Fukuoka City and other areas stop, it is not able to take full advantage of its convenience. Uki, which is accessed from the expressway and from the Chikuho direction, has little presence as an entrance to the city. Last year, a foreign hotel opened next to the roadside station, but in the future Chikugogawa Onsen will need to function as a bathing area for guests staying at foreign hotels in addition to each inn. Since foreign-affiliated hotels are generally well-received, the skills of each facility and the administration will be tested to see if they can work together well.

I went there for a short stay. The hot water was good, but I thought the customer service was not so good.

Hot springs flowing directly from the source ♨️ After paying at the front desk, take a bath. The quality of the hot spring water was soft, but you could enjoy the scent of the hot spring and it felt good on your skin. I'm very satisfied.

Chikugogawa Onsen is a national recreational hot spring resort, but although it doesn't seem to be very popular, the quality of the spring water is extremely good. Niji no Yu is a day trip bath, but I highly recommend it. It is a radium and radon simple sulfur spring.
