Last time I used it for a day camp, it was very good, so this time I used it for 2 days and 1 night. Spending time admiring the rural scenery and letting your mind rest in nature is a feeling of peace. At night, as I was enjoying a relaxing time listening to the murmuring of the river and the chorus of frogs, a light began to flicker gently into the darkness. Yes, this is the village of fireflies. I was able to soothe the fatigue of the day while looking at the gentle light of fireflies. It was a campsite that I would like to use again.

(Added 2023.12.05)The winter fireflies in Koshio are beautiful again this year.By the time the students who cycled to school returned home, it was already pitch dark on the slope leading from town. It started with a small light saying, ``Thank you for your hard work. You've worked hard to come back.'' Winter fireflies are a gentle light.A small campground where you can enjoy playing in the river. You can even see fireflies flying around towards the end of May. My camping debut was at Firefly Village. There are three flat areas: upper, middle, and lower, allowing you to maintain some degree of privacy. It might be easier to pitch a larger tent if it's on the upper level.Advance reservations are required, and they seem to be accepting a maximum of 6 to 7 groups per day. It seems to be mostly used by solo travelers and families, and so far I haven't encountered any campers who make a fuss until late. Enjoy the sound of the river and the starry sky.I've been using it occasionally since January, but before I knew it, the Japanese-style toilet in the men's restroom had become a Western-style toilet. The washrooms and toilets are well-cleaned, so you can have a comfortable stay. Thank you to everyone at the Oshio Neighborhood Association.

The site along the river is lower, but the access road is narrow and caution is required.A former park turned into a place where you can camp.

A lot of fireflies fly. It flew fine even on a sunny day. It can be enjoyed over a fairly wide area of the river.Parking lots and roads are along the river, so the lights from cars shine brightly. It was a town-wide festival, so the residents kindly guided us to the parking lot, which was helpful. And since it's a festival, all the lights from the stalls come on.It's pitch black and doesn't have a great atmosphere, but the spaciousness and visibility were high points, and I think it's suitable for families.

I made a reservation, but am I bringing guests with me? There were 5 or 6 cars parked in the free area and there was no place to go. Many customers have no common sense and treat free sites as parking lots.I guess the quality of the customers is like this because the manager is appropriate. ☆0
