Looking for a hot spring where I could stay alone on Friday, I visited ``Ryokan Yamagaya'' in Tsuetate Onsen.I was lucky to be able to stay there even though it was during the Koinobori Festival. Moreover, since I was the only one staying tonight, I decided to reserve the hot spring for myself! The room is large enough for one person, and you can clearly see the carp streamers from the window. The toilet is new and clean and shiny. The open-air bath was nice, but I personally liked the indoor bath. There is also a steam bath, and I was able to enjoy this indoor bath many times during my stay.Meals were prepared in the next room. All of the dishes were delicious and I was able to eat slowly while looking at the scenery from the window.Although it was a bit far to drive from Fukuoka Airport, we were able to enjoy the splendor of Tsuetate Onsen during our stay.I would like to stay here again when I come to Kyushu again.

My husband and I visited during the Obon holiday.I stayed at Jaland for a reasonable price, including breakfast and dinner.Once you enter Tsuetate Onsen, the road becomes narrower, so you need to be careful of oncoming traffic. There are only 4 parking spaces in the building about 100m in front of the inn. The parking lot is sloped, so low-height cars should be careful not to scrape the bottom. If you are worried, it is safer to use the free parking lot across the river. The appearance of the inn has a calm atmosphere. When I arrived at the inn, there was no one at the reception desk, so I was worried, but when I rang the doorbell, the owner came out and showed me to my room. Our room was on the third floor, but there is no elevator, so it is not recommended for people with mobility issues. When we entered the room, the air conditioner was not on and the refrigerator was not turned on, so we were forced to stay in the heat for a while. There was a plastic bottle on the desk, but it wasn't cold either, so I couldn't drink it right away. This is a disappointing place. The room faced the river, and I thought the view was nice while feeling the flow of the river. The rooms are clean and the toilets are new, so they are comfortable. The footbath in front of the inn was not usable. The steam room across the river is reserved for guests staying at another inn, so we couldn't use it. This was also disappointing.Although the open-air bath is small, it is comfortable and can be reserved for private use, so you can relax and enjoy it. There are steps to reach the bathroom, so those with walking disabilities will need assistance. The water was a little hot, but it felt great. It would be better if there was a fan in the changing room. The public bath was lukewarm, as per the instructions. I was able to enter comfortably by myself without meeting other customers. However, the floor of the steam bath was so hot that I ran out of it within seconds. As mentioned in other reviews, the dinner was really delicious and filling, including roast beef, cold potato soup, sashimi, bonito cutlet, chawan mushi with melty bean paste, and the game game served. It would be better if there was a menu.Breakfast was also delicious. It has been run by the family for a long time. According to my daughter, she is the 5th generation. This is an inn where you can spend a relaxing time with a warm atmosphere.Overall, I think it's a 5 star.

This is an inn with a nostalgic atmosphere.Although the room was old, it had been renovated and was clean. The toilet has also been renovated. The inn retains the good old days and provides a relaxing atmosphere. And above all, the food is very delicious. Not a strong flavor,Each dish has its own flavor and seasoning.Every small bowl tastes different and yet delicate. After eating here, I wanted to learn about soup stock! lolThe landlady was a wonderful person with a smile. The location is great and I have nothing to say!I definitely want to go again!

The meal is really great. It's so cute. The view in front is nice and they are friendly. The price is not cheap, but it is reasonable compared to the surrounding areas. It feels different from Kurokawa. I recommend it to anyone who rents.

I have stayed in so many places while traveling abroad, and this must be the most amazing accommodation experience. First of all, I booked accommodation through Japan’s Jalan booking website (a large Japanese booking website, I have used it before without any problems), and took the last bus. After arriving at Tsudate Onsen from Aso, I arrived at the entrance of the hotel. The whole hotel was dark and seemed to be closed. I confirmed my order again and confirmed that I had not made a mistake in the date, but there was no one in the hotel and there was no response when I knocked on the door. In desperation, I had to seek help from the hotel next door, hoping that they could help contact the hotel where I was staying. After the hotel next door broadcast the call, I finally contacted the hotel owner. However, the owner seemed not to know that there was an order today and was completely unprepared. After some coordination, , the boss said that we can still stay here (but it only includes breakfast for the next day), and the boss will take us out to a restaurant for dinner.Since there were no other guests that day, we occupied the entire hotel. I have to say that the hot springs in this hotel are really good. The baths are large, there are open-air baths, and saunas are available. The quality of the hot springs in Tsudate Onsen is very good. Yes, very comfortable after soaking. However, when we returned to the room, large pests appeared in the room. The wooden house has not been used for too long and is easy to appear. In the end, the boss's daughter brought insecticide to solve the problem. The boss also forgot to make the bed for us. Finally, it was very late. The boss's daughter realized that our room had not made the bed, so she came to help us make it.Because we stayed in a hot spring hotel instead of a B&B, basic bed-making or pest problems should not have arisen. I didn’t want to give too high a score, but the boss’s daughter is very cute and considerate, which is a plus, and the breakfast is also delicious. , but there are still many things to pay attention to in details⋯

Although the building is old, it has a retro atmosphere and is stylish and I felt comfortable. There were a lot of food items, and they were all really delicious. It was great to be able to eat Tsuetate pudding for breakfast!Next time I would like to go when I can see the carp streamers from the window.thank you for helping me.

Although the price was reasonable, I was very satisfied. The food was just delicious! I was very satisfied with both the quantity and quality in the morning and evening. I thought the food was better than the more expensive inns. Even though the room was small, I thought it had enough facilities for just sleeping. I was grateful to have a private open-air bath.

Before it gets hot in summer, go to Tsuetate OnsenI had a hard time deciding where to go, but it's quite affordable so I decided to go here. There are several parking lots just in front of the inn.Well, there is a free parking lot nearby, so you can use that as well. It's a very clean inn and all rooms have toilets. It was like eating in a private room.Is the hot spring a simple spring? Chloride spring? I wasn't sure what it was, but there was a slight sulfur smell and it was quite pleasant. There is also an open-air private bath. This steam sauna was so hot that I almost turned into a boiled egg.I managed to squeeze in some water, but I reached my limit after 1.2 minutes.I thought this must be where the fierce men enter. If you're looking for a hot steam sauna, definitely give it a try.As for the rice, I personally think the quality is quite high. Each item is very deliciousPersonally, the roast beef, chawanmushi, and the strawberry pudding that came out in the morning? Strawberry mousse? was exquisiteThe staff's response was very good, so I would like to go there again.
