This inn has a spectacular view overlooking the center of Yufuin and is surrounded by beautiful greenery.I was healed by the impressive atmosphere of the hotel with its wonderful furniture and cute cats, and I was able to spend a peaceful time thanks to the thoughtfulness of the host. And best of all, the food was absolutely delicious.I'll visit you again.

I stayed at Kuboya for one night because I was drawn to the phrase "French eaten with chopsticks."First of all, it was a spacious and quiet place surrounded by trees, which made me feel relieved from the crowded city streets. I was able to take a leisurely walk through the trees surrounding the inn and also explore the gallery. The meal was delicious, authentic French cuisine, and the game I cooked for the first time was also delicious. The bread was also delicious. The breakfast was also very delicious with fresh local vegetables and ingredients. Even though it was midsummer, there was no air conditioning in the dining room, so the outside breeze kept us cool enough. The hot spring was a good size and felt very comfortable. The inn is not that new, but the rooms are original, with wide staircases and atriums, and have a calming design, and each piece of antique furniture is lovely. There were cats relaxing on the stairs and in the entrance at night, which was also soothing. It was an unforgettable trip to Yufuin where we had a lot of fun talking about mountains and travels with the friendly owner and his wife.

An elderly couple over 60 years old, with children now living on their own, chose auberge as a way to have fun as an adult. …

Currently, it is limited to two groups per day, so we were the only ones who reserved it for the day. Not only was the food delicious, but I was very satisfied with the heartwarming service provided by the owner couple. The room was a Japanese-Western room (kunugi room), but it was spacious and relaxing. The view from the room was also great. The bath also felt like a semi-open-air bath (with glass partitions), so it was nice to be able to see the outside scenery in the morning. The wall of the door is not thick, so it may be a bit prone to sound leakage. It's surrounded by trees, so there may be insects.

I decided on it based on the good reviews. I was disappointed even though I paid a lot of money to go there. After asking for dinner towels in a hot place while worrying about mosquitoes, I hastily wet a towel and wring it out.The light in the room was so dark that it was impossible to read a book, even though the blanket was dirty because I used to wear slippers every time I went into the room. There is no electricity in the next room.Profit may be important, but I think it is necessary to make a minimum investment in equipment as long as we receive money from customers. It was clear that there were vacancies even though it was a holiday. It was at the level of a guesthouse.I learned a lot.

It was an interesting building. Although there was no TV or WiFi, it was the bare minimum, but thanks to it I was able to escape from everyday life and relax. Thank you for sending me the items I forgot.

I think the prices are surprisingly reasonable for an inn that includes dinner. (Especially in Yufuin!)It's not impossible to walk to Lake Kinrinko, but the parking lot on the main street is reasonably priced, so we recommend parking there and walking.(There is only enough space for one car around Lake Kinrinko, so we got stranded💦This seems to be a common sight.)The quality of the spring water is said to be a simple hot spring, and the water is so smooth that you won't get tired no matter how many times you bathe in it.The rice is also delicious. If you're lucky, you might even meet Uzura the cat 💕The room is simple and there is some sound leakage, but since the number of guests is small and the age group is older, I don't think you need to be too nervous. This is a recommended inn where you can relax.
