We stayed at this hole during our family trip, as we have 4 members, we booked this hotel room with a private hot spring bathtub, that was an excellent choice and we had quite a lot of fun.As the hotel location is a bit away from downtown, if anyone has a personal transportation, then that will be the best. still as taxi is accessible with reasonable fare, it can be reachable.

There was a Korean person working there, so I was able to use it comfortably, and the breakfast was very delicious. Even though the accommodation is located halfway up the mountain, I didn't see a single bug, so I was amazed at how they kept it so clean. I was very happy because the water temperature in the open-air bath was just right. It's really great to take a hot spring bath and have a glass of milk👍 Except for the fact that it's a bit far from the center of Yufuin, everything was perfect including hygiene, service, view, and bed.

the room is cozy, comfotable, and cleanyou may notice there is no shower in the room. However you can enjoy a private onsen with a good view which is open for booking daily. The host will prepare a nice breakfast for you, and also the shuttle bus sercive is available. For whom who have the short stay in Yufuincho Kawakami,it is a good choice.the place is quiet and located in upper hill and you may enjoy the city view if you slect the right room.

My overall rating is 5 because the staff and location are wonderful.I will warn you however that if you have mobility issues, then I don't recommend you stay here. The reception is on the first floor but the rooms are on the second floor and you must climb steep narrow steps because there is no elevator. The "western style" rooms have no shower or bath so you have to climb down the stairs to the basement to the Japanese style ofuro. You also have to reserve a time to bathe. The Onsen doesn't have a handrail and if you have balance or joint problems be very careful getting in and out. There are limited electric plug receptacles in the rooms. Finally, the beds are low and were difficult to get out of.

Very good. It was convenient, friendly and clean. Everything was helpful in recovering from hot spring fatigue. You have to walk 30 minutes from the station. However, they provide shuttle pick-up and drop-off, and taxi fare to the station is 1,000 yen. There are always taxis on the main road, so you don't have to worry. You can take a bus to Yufuin Station to pick up guests. We recommend a course where you walk from Yufuin Station to Kinrin Lake, buy some food, and then walk back. It takes about 20 minutes from Khanin. A quiet rural town. When the sun goes down, it gets dark and it's hard to find your way, but it's not dangerous. There is a very delicious restaurant 5-10 minutes away. Utu to so appears when you search on Google Maps. Reservations must be made through Instagram. There are a lot of people on the main street, it is a tourist attraction, and because it is rural, there are no popular restaurants. When you go to utu to so, you definitely feel like you are being treated to a hearty meal. It is an eco-friendly meal made with healthy ingredients, so I would recommend it if you are on a hot spring trip with adults. Since there is no kaiseki cuisine when you go to Hoshinosato, I think it would be a perfect hot spring trip if you enjoy it as a set with Utu to so.
