Pension Toyoshima

A long-established pension. It's located on a hill, so it's a bit of a walk from the coast, but the view from the second floor terrace was outstanding.The meals are also very voluminous and feature fresh seafood. The golden sea bream was super delicious! It's a cost-effective accommodation. It was an inn that made me want to come again.

The rice was great.The other Kumikomi roads are narrow, but if you walk or pick them up, there is no problem.It's in the mountains, so if you don't like insects, it might be better to stay along the expensive coast.*One free washing machine and one paid dryer available.The reason why a large boiled golden sea bream costs less than 12,000 yen during the high season may be due to the location, but my family was still very satisfied!

The facilities have deteriorated over time and are poorly repaired, and are difficult to lock, but at this price, it is impossible for management to ask for that much, so if you value facilities, you can stay at a nearby Prince Hotel. We recommend that you do so.We stayed for 2 nights from December 30th to January 1st with breakfast and dinner, the cheapest course for 7 people.The food is mainly local seafood, and I thought the dinner was a little more shrimp and crab than other hotels.The sashimi consisted of four pieces of red fish such as sea bream (high-priced fish) and a few other items for color.Boiled fish was 2 whole sea bream for 7 people, grilled fish was (probably) golden sea bream and grilled spiny lobster half for each person, and there was also a lot of small side dishes and homemade agar anmitsu, so it would be impossible for the average woman to finish it all. However, I don't think there are enough men who are big eaters.If your group is made up of only big eaters, we recommend additional dishes.It depends on the person, but sometimes the food is cold, but the seasoning is very good.I stayed in a room where two rooms on the first floor were connected to make one room, but if you stay with a small number of people during the busy season, I think they can be partitioned with sliding doors that are just screwed together, so you can hear the conversation in the next room and the TV. I think I can hear all the sounds.Although it was winter, the room was not cold at all.The smoking area is located in front of the entrance of the inn, and you can smoke while sitting at a table and four-seater chairs, but if it rains, there is nothing to block you, so you will have to smoke under an umbrella.The parking lot is right in front of the inn, so it's nice, but if you arrive when it's dark, you might not be able to see the parking rope on the ground, or you might end up driving your car down a cliff, so be careful.The road to the inn is narrow, winding, and steep.I was able to get through with the Vellfire, but those who don't have a good feel for the width of the car or the difference between the inner wheels may run off the wheels or scrape.My feeling is that for cars with the same length axle spacing, if the car width is +30 cm, there is just enough room for road width.

It was full of retro things, and I felt like I was back at my parents' house, so I slept well at night.My son and his mother got along very well, and the scenery was great.I'd go again.There's a washing machine for free and a place where you can dry your clothes right away.

The food is great.

The day after I made a reservation through a travel website, I received a call from the hotel and was told that I had made a mistake in the amount and would like to cancel.I'm not satisfied with this, even though I only made a reservation on the scheduled date, but I canceled it because it would just be a headache if I stayed there.

As I was looking at the map and driving my way there, I realized that the road was very narrow, so I was worried about whether I could drive there, so I called Mr. Toyoshima, and his wife answered in a gentle voice and asked, ``Would you like to come pick me up?'' I was a little relieved ☺️ When I arrived, they came to pick me up at the exit, which made me feel at ease 😊!! ️When we arrived, we had a very luxurious and plentiful dinner! The taste of the meat, simmered kinme, and sashimi was amazing ❤️ I chose this because I wanted to focus on food, so I'm very satisfied ❤️I was able to reserve the bath for myself, so it was great to be able to take a bath with my husband without having to worry about anything! ️The room also has a balcony, and the view from there is spectacular! ️I had so much fun in the hammock on the balcony that I took a photo with my husband🤳🏻!! ️It exceeded my expectations, so I will definitely use it again ❤️

Good old Showa pension. The balcony on the second floor has a spectacular view, so it's worth staying! As for the meal, we were able to enjoy fresh seafood, which is unique to the area! The portions are plentiful, so it's perfect for those who are hungry! 🍱If you are tired of the usual comfortable environment such as hotels, we highly recommend it.The best part about insect control is that there are a lot of insecticides available and you can get rid of them 😊

It was a last minute reservation, but they accommodated me very well. I had breakfast and it was delicious.
