You can take a bath whenever you want, making it perfect for solo travelers and overnight stays. The TV in the room is a coin-operated cathode ray tube, which is rare these days. I don't know if the coin-operated machine is in operation because I don't use it. The same goes for air conditioners. The location is in the mountains from Shimoda station, so you might get lost. However, I feel like it's the same everywhere around Shimoda.

Used on a surf tripIt was 9,900 yen for 2 nights over the year-end and New Year holidays, which was a bargain in this area. I paid a separate bathing tax of 130 yen.I was alone, but they lent me a large room.I also brought my surfboard, and they took care of it with great care.I felt that it was not suitable for those who wanted customer service that had little to do with the front desk like in a business hotel. On the other hand, if you don't mind having to deal with the front desk a little, I think it's a good place to stay in Shimoda for a cheap price.(Although the manager is not actively involved, the hall, or rather the landing area, is also the manager's living space, where he can go to the (common) toilet or rent a hot spring. We'll see each other every time we move around the inn.)The manager was kind and seemed willing to help me if I asked for advice. The atmosphere of the inn was like a family home in the countryside, with a pile of ponkans piled up in a bowl on the table and a pendulum clock ticking away the time, giving it a warm, lived-in feel.I want to use it again.

This is a family pension, japanese style.its not new at all.the owner is a quite man.and the price 4580 per person.I think its razonable price for shimoda area in this season. the famous beaches in shimoda, are far away from here. its better if you got a car.BUT walking from here ara 2 beaches. These ones are quite, and super clear water,no wave.IS perfect for kids.CAPE TSUMEKI is close to here.negative points.air condition 100 yen 2 hours.& need to be reform a little quite.

Low awareness of customer business. There is no hospitality, guidance, or explanation for customers. I made a reservation through Rakuten Travel, but the room rate was different. Expensive for a room-only plan. Is it a hot spring that you can bathe in any time and that the only selling point is that it flows directly from the source? Are there any places these days that don't have a refrigerator, have a TV, and have an air conditioner for a fee? It's a guest house. The big old clock chimes at night, and there are no washlets in the communal toilets. The facilities as a whole are old and in disrepair with no signs of being repaired.Rather than a pension, it's more like what we would call a private lodging room, rented out to the owner. The cicada warblers are so noisy from night until early morning. Unless my wife and I live in the countryside, we would have to pay for an air conditioner and open the windows, so I don't think we would be able to tolerate the environment.
