This is a resort house built on a slope and designed by architect Tadao Ando.It is a space with a unique design and a spectacular view where you can feel the ocean everywhere. This is an inn with a scenery that you may have seen on TV suspense movies a long time ago.The huge white tower was used as a filming location. The road was a little narrow, but I was able to get there without getting lost using the navigation system.

Stayed in a maisonette type room. There is also a pool and it feels like a resort. The concrete flooring designed by Tadao Ando is stylish. Although it is not an ocean view, the view from the terrace is great. You can see Kansai Airport and Tomogashima across the sea, so a clear day is best!

I had high expectations based on the photos online! Even after going up the stairs before entering the hotel, it was difficult to carry my luggage up the stairs! I was so impressed by the view from the 8th floor that I went to my room, but I was disappointed because I couldn't see the ocean at all. ...I came to Awaji Island and couldn't see the ocean from my room😔

This is a Tadao Ando building located on the slope of a mountain. When I stayed there in about 2002, I was impressed by the elaborate courses such as stone-grilled Tajima beef steak, and thought it was a TOTO resort. Nowadays, the cuisine has changed so I can't help you. We recommend the maisonette type.

It was very difficult to go up and down from the front desk to the elevator floor with my luggage. I stayed on the second floor, but I couldn't see the sea at all from the guest room or the public bath. There are not enough tableware provided.

This is a hotel designed by Tadao Ando that I've always been interested in. It is said to be a former TOTO resort. You can reach it by driving up a very narrow road. Please be careful at night as there are few street lights. Also, the entrance is hard to find, but the entrance is on the 8th floor. You go down the stairs with a huge bookshelf to the 7th floor, cross the connecting hallway, and take the elevator down to the guest rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The building is made of concrete and has plenty of space, making you feel as if you are in an art museum. Best of all, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the ocean from the lounge and terrace. it's the best. The rooms are also spacious, and you can experience TOTO's latest models in the sink, toilet, and bathroom. It's best to go low-key. If I bought my own house, I would want to install exactly the same product. lolFor breakfast, the freshly cooked clay pot rice is especially delicious. It was a brand of rice called Hinohikari, and each grain of rice stood up and had a sweet taste, so I ordered a second helping. You can also make egg-cooked rice. The amount of side dishes is just right, not too much and not too little.Since I stayed on a Sunday, I was able to stay in a twin bed room for less than 20,000 yen for two people, including breakfast. I think the cost performance is quite good. There are only 14 rooms in total, so it's not crowded and you can relax. By the way, there is a sauna for one person in the public bath, and it was nice to be able to relax quietly. (There is no cold bath, but there is a standing shower)There are no convenience stores or restaurants nearby that you can walk to, but hotels with some kind of concept can make up for it with a wonderful experience. Overall, this hotel is recommended for those who like architecture and spectacular views!

It's on top of a mountain and you can't see the ocean from your room. The room is quite spacious, with a TOTO toilet and bath. It wasn't particularly modern.I'm happy to be able to make reservations on the same day.The rice cooked in a clay pot for breakfast is delicious.

It was like a former TOTO resort, so I had a calm time.It was nice that the dinner was arranged by the person as well. However, I was concerned that a stink bug came into my room during the night and was flying around.
