We recently stayed at a Ryokan in Wadayama, and it was an incredible experience. The atmosphere was absolutely beautiful, set in a very old yet impeccably maintained house that exuded charm. Everything was in the traditional Japanese style, which added to the authenticity and overall experience. The hostess was incredibly kind and attentive, contributing greatly to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Her hospitality made us feel right at home. The breakfast was impressive, with a variety that changed daily, offering a delicious start to each day.The location was perfect for excursions to Takeda Castle, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. Wadayama itself is a very quiet and sleepy town, perfect for leisurely walks and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing Japanese experience.

I stopped by at the halfway point on my way back from my trip to Izumo. We stayed as a family of 7, 5 adults and 2 children, and they suggested we book 2 rooms when we made the reservation, which was helpful. (2 rooms for 3 adults, 2 adults and 2 children)The family also reserved a bath for us so we could take our time.I arrived late, but I was glad that they welcomed me so kindly. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Next time I go, I would like to upgrade the quality of the food. It's a really warm inn.I want to go again! My child was excited to see dragonflies and stink bugs lolHusband, Kakimoto Kai's muffler is great!I understand. lol

Neither good nor bad. It's a mystery why it's rated so highly. The ventilation fan in the room is noisy. There's a notice saying there's a large number of stink bugs, but are the bugs coming in because the door is wide open? In the morning, there were a lot of dead insects in the bathroom. The restroom is unisex so it's a bit awkward. The ladies were friendly and gave a good impression.Meals are normal both in the morning and in the evening.

A 5-minute walk from Wadayama Station on the Bantan Line, this is a family-run inn that looks like a ryokan. They kept the room warm and waited for me, and I enjoyed my dinner while it was piping hot, and they even gave me a bath while I was eating. There is also a washing area for two people, so the whole family can relax. The room was a spacious Japanese-style room with a view of the garden outside the window.Even though I was hectic on my way home, I was treated very politely. This is an inn where you can feel the kindness and warmth of the landlady and her family at every turn.If you are going to Takeda Castle, we recommend staying here for a little longer. I want to go again.

It had the atmosphere of a guesthouse, and both the wife and the female employees were simple and kind people. The inside of the building was bright and well-maintained, the communal toilets were clean, and the bathrooms had locks, so I was able to relax and enjoy the baths. The meal was very nutritious and I was very satisfied, but I was disappointed that the yukata still had a peculiar smell. It says that meals are served in the room or in a private room, but in reality, meals were not served in the room at night or in the morning, and meals were served in a shared room rather than in a private room.
