This place is in a excellent position, close the castle in a street with a lot of places to eat. The host was super nice and welcome and helped us with everything. The rooms are okay for the price.

These 3 days at Himeji Guest House were ones of the best I had in Japan. I especially want to thank Kyoko, the owner of the hostel who made my stay to be the best, super good english to speak ! She is a very welcoming person who invite all of the guests to meet each other, with the very convenient and chill living room ! Rooms are very quiet and relaxing. The atmosphere of Himeji guest house was the best I have ever had in my hostels backgrounds !

The owner is a super nice lady which made my stay there really comfortable. She even bothered to show me how to use the washing machine. We had a nice chat about Detective Conan btw☺️ The location is awesome for exploring the area around Himeji castle, you can literally be there in 5 Minutes. I had an amazing stay and I will definitely come back

Good place if you want have a bed for night. Although, if you want to sleep during that night, you better choose another place. It is very noisy and checking in and out is pretty complicated.2 stars for the air conditioning, else it would have been 1.

The owner lady Kyoko-san is very nice and warm and I felt so welcome right away. I didn’t know much about Himeji but she gave me lots of recommendations to go & eat and all of them were awesome! The guesthouse itself is also comfy and cozy, I ended up extending another night ;-)

My friend and I stayed for one night on shogatsu; we were actually accommodated last minute because our prior lodging ran into unexpected troubles. Despite this, the host was very gracious and helpful. …

The hostel is located between Himeji Station and the Castle. A very good location for sightseeing. Its squeezed between shops on the covered shopping street so if you like people watching this place is great. …

A great place in himeji for backpackers. The staff is extremely kind, and they do take time to interact with the guests (they speak English well). We met some cool people and loved our stay there mainly because of the hosts. The downside is that they the place is very small and they just shower room. The checkout time is 10am which is a bit early. Plus they ask you to leave by 10am during your stay to clean the beds. This was highly inconvenient for us.

The hotel itself was very cosy and the lovely women running the hotel was very helpful and nice. She also gave me a delicious mochi dessert free of charge! The futon bed provided was also very comfortable. Overall, a great experience!
