Hostel Act is really welcoming, good food and amazing people. Clean, tidy, it is located inside the historic and fascinating covered market. It is close to the station and every point of interest in the city. Megumi, the owner speaks perfect English and is a super host as well as an amazing cook.Highly recommended!

It was located in a retro market in the center of Toyooka City, and had a very nice atmosphere. I was able to spend a very comfortable time with the hospitality of the owners, mother and daughter. The rooms and common areas were clean, and I had a great time interacting with the owners and other guests. thank you very much.

Cute, clean, quiet place close to public baths area. Traditional Japanese house on a small street. Best sleep on the tatami. The host was really nice. Close by to go sightseeing. Easy access to bus station and railway station. Warmly recommended.

The store is located in the Toyooka Public Market, and all of the stores in the surrounding area have been renovated and are stylish. The inn has a restaurant attached, so you'll love the pork. The owner of the inn and his family learned about the Toyooka Bag brand, and the guests also gave us an architectural map of the city. Thanks to you, I have a good understanding of the Toyooka-gai base.The kitchen and bed at the inn were spacious and had the feel of MUJI furniture, making it stylish and comfortable.I especially like the living room on the first floor, and the calm atmosphere of the book cafe. If you're looking to telework in a rural area, I highly recommend this place, as it's the center of local information, and you'll be able to meet lots of interesting people.

4 people stayed here in September 2023 as a base for visiting nearby Kinosaki. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, we were very grateful for their recommendations and warm welcome. Toyooka isn't a tourist town, and so they pointed out nearby izakayas and bars we could go to, even leading us to some places and asking the venues if they were happy to accommodate foreigners with miniimal Japanese language skills.The 4 bunk room was perfect for us, the beds were well made and comfortable, and facilities were clean and of high quality. This is an ideal place to stay to go and visit Kinosaki without the costs of staying at the Ryokan there, and the local bars were very friendly too, is somewhat bemused to see foreign visitors in their town.

It is located in a wooden arcade shopping street that is said to be the oldest in Japan. The old house has been renovated and is now open as a pub and accommodation facility.Surrounded by an interesting hostess and a husband who is particular about the details, I grow old at night.This is a highly recommended inn for those who want to communicate with local people in Tajima.
