-Public onsen is NOT tattoo friendly and you do have to pay for the onsen tax per day even though you can't use it-i did pay for the private outdoor onsen ¥2750 wasn't too bad, what did not like was the lock does not work. And the onsen was extremely hot to use for a full hour, I've been to many but this was beyond necessary hot maybe 10-15min or you will get lightheaded .- room was beautiful but the smell was very off-putting I even check the air vents and there was mold growing inside .- they do "free" shuttle service form there to the station uphill, I requested so and they ended up getting me a taxi ¥1000 for doing so .. needless to say...it's alright... Not great. Not horrible but meh...

Source name: unknownpH value: unknownSpring quality: Alkaline simple hot springUse the day trip bath.Although it was a weekday, there were always other people around. I got the impression that the customer base was relatively young even on a weekday daytime. The indoor bath has a large L-shaped bathtub with a smaller bathtub near the spout. There was also a bathtub that was quite lukewarm (about 30 degrees?). The outdoor bath has one fairly large bathtub.Kinugawa Onsen is basically a simple hot spring with a disinfectant smell, so the quality of the water is pretty average. However, the view from the indoor bath is great, with the Kinu Tateiwa Suspension Bridge right in front of you! There is also a sauna and cold bath. The temperature of the sauna was a little low at 80 degrees. There is also water service in the changing room. By the way, there is a service where you can drink Kinugawa water in front of the front desk.It also seems like there is a footbath cafe attached.Personally, I liked the view and the warm water, so I stayed on the indoor bath side. If you can get it for 1000 yen, I think it's a good value for money.

I stayed in a room on the 1st/4th floor, and the room was well-cleaned. But you can't deny that it's old. The tatami mats in the Japanese-style room have noticeable scratches. The drainboard in the open-air bath in the guest room is also damaged. The meal was in a semi-private dining room, but the room was clean and the meal was double-maru.

My family and I loved our 5 night stay at Hotel Sunshine Kinugawa. Our room was comfy and authentic. We all loved the futon beds. By far the most standout aspect of our stay was the view from our room. Which was of the gorgeous Kinugawa River and surrounding mountains. It was absolutely breathtaking 😍 take me back to Hotel Sunshine any day! We all thoroughly enjoyed the public and private onsens after a busy day of exploring the Nikko surroundings. We're hoping to visit the area again next year. Thank you Hotel Sunshine 🙏

Honestly, I don't recommend bringing children...Since it was buffet style, I checked the website and saw that there was a kids menu, so I went without worrying, but there was only an ice cream case under the kids menu panel. No food was provided.Kids menu🟰I think many people would imagine hamburgers, fries, sausages, fried chicken, etc., but there were none.My 4-year-old child had no choice but to eat only white rice and udon. There were several items such as sushi, but there was nothing for children, which was a shame.Later, I bought something to eat at a convenience store and had it in my room. The rented yukata had ketchup-like stains, and the towel had hair tangled in it, making it filthy. There was a coloring book corner, but it was unmanaged and a mess. Most of the staff members who answered the questions were of foreign nationality, so there were no problems with the staff who were used to the service, but those who were not, turned their heads to the side when I asked questions, and disappeared into the backyard and never came back...The room had a view of the suspension bridge, but it was dim and the TV didn't work, so my child said it was scary from beginning to end. This is the first time I've been to a hotel where I didn't enjoy it so much. .I wonder if I can forgive it, whether it's cheap or bad. .

A good hotel that doesn't match the price. However, if there are any students going on a school trip, I wish they would have contacted me at the time of booking.

I felt really sick to say the least.I came here for my husband's birthday. It's not something you'll use for your birthday.I was surprised in many ways.First of all, I made a reservation for the cake and at the receptionI have confirmed that I have accepted it.The cake I ordered at the buffet venueI told the staff that please."Cake? I don't know, but do you know?"and a conversation between the staff. If you tell me your room number``I didn't ask you, I think you have the wrong room number.'' I was seriously criticized and I felt terrible.“No, no, I didn’t make a mistake and I asked for it.Please clear the table before serving the cake.'' I asked. No one came to clean up.The cake that came out at the end of the dayIt's definitely not a cake from a cake shop.I was so sad that I felt sorry for my husband. The words ``Congratulations to Papa!''I wrote this in a hurry even though I had asked for it.On the back of the plate where the words "Happy Birthday" were originally written. It just said "Daddy." Laughter!(Please look at the photo and smile! Isn't it scary?!Who made it? ! I cried all the time in my heart! )The cake at the cake shop has so much fresh cream around it.There's no way it's going to look like an amateur lolI wonder if the staff made it with things they had on hand? ? ?It was so much better to make it yourself and bring it with you! lolThe attitude and language of the staffPlease don't criticize me for saying this is the way to respond 🤗No one apologized and I felt really bad.I felt sorry for my husband from start to finish 🤣The buffet has too few items and is not tasty at all.I left hungry and had nothing to eat.My family loves traveling and uses hotels many times a year. This was one or two of the worst hotels I've been to.The assistant manager came when I checked out.I received a small gift as an apology, but it doesn't make me feel better.Because of this, I got paid 3000 yen for the cake. You don't have to pay for that, right? That's what I thought.I will never come again and cannot recommend it.I seriously failed😇😇😇😇😇😇By the way, there was blood on the futon sheets.I felt even worse lol

I could see the fireworks beautifully from my room. The renovated private bath was amazing! This alone was great, but the room was spacious and the meat at the buffet was especially delicious. There are a lot of families here, but I think you can also enjoy going with friends (a large number of people). It was a wonderful trip.

The room is spacious and tidy, but there is no washing machine service. There were children under one year old when bathing in the hot spring, and children over four years old were walking around and playing. According to the law, children under six years old are not allowed to enter, so the hotel should pay more attention.
