We stayed here by accident - contacted another B&B (Guesthouse Farmor) but it was fully booked, and the owner kindly helped us book this one instead. What a lucky coincidence!!! It felt like staying with our newfound Japanese grandmother and we absolutely loved it.We were a group of 3 - my male friends got a room to share and I got my own, for just 5000¥ per person we had the rooms to ourselves, an incredible breakfast and complimentary tickets to the nearby onsen (see photo). Our host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, she even gave us 3 little onsen toiletry baskets and saw us off in the morning. 100% would stay again, what a wholesome experience it was!

The breakfast is simply gorgeous. Refills of rice and miso soup are available. The cycle stand is located in a covered area to the right of the main entrance. For hygiene reasons, the bath only has a shower without a bathtub. There is a public bath at Tatara Shimanami Dome nearby, but please note that they do not carry bath towels.(Small towels, razors, etc. are available)It's located right next to Tatara Ohashi Bridge, so it's a convenient location for a one-night, two-day trip.I used the service on a short notice during Golden Week on May 3rd, and they were very helpful.
