My trip to Japan ended in Okinawa where I wanted to surf before leaving the country.Happy Surfing Okinawa, Danny and Rashid were, I guess, the best possible way to experience surf in Japan.Their advices were the best I ever had to improve my technique. All they can say is on point and you can feel their true passion and knowledge of surfing.They will book your session only the day before because they want the best experience for you, driving you to the best spots of the day depending on the conditions, on an island they know perfectly well.They even helped me, picking me up in Naha for a 6am session we had.Well, you are not only going to enjoy surfing there, you are also going to meet great and kind people who only want one thing for you: that you have the best experience of surfing in Japan.Thank you for that guys, these two days will stick with me forever 🤙

Danny is hands down the best guide and instructor on the island.Not surprised consider his background as a former competitive pro-surfer and decades experience guiding and instructing on the island.Thanks for all the pointers!

My buddy and I were desperately trying to get one surf in before leaving the island and Happy Surfing Okinawa made it happen. We rented boards and scored a magical little sesh right behind the shop. Danny gave us some awesome local insight about the waves and culture, and even helped us get a taxi home when we were struggling. Wish we had more time to stay and surf.

Just stopped by for an afternoon session. Danny and the crew were super rad and accommodating. The waves turned on an hour before dark so that was a nice addition. Overall, it was a great experience. Danny is very knowledgeable and could answer any question for someone trying to learn. If I’m ever in Okinawa again, I’ll definitely reach out to surf with them. Fun surf. Great crew. It doesn’t get much better.

I surfed with Danny over three days and he provided great surf lessons at carefully selected surf spots to match the wind and swell. The soft boards were good to get into the maximum number of waves and Danny or Rashid were always at the right take off point to help with selecting waves. The photos were a nice record of terrific days! 100% recommend for surfing in Okinawa!

We booked a surf lesson with Danny and our instructor was Danny and Rashid. We were delayed in traffic and changed our ETA 3 times and they still accommodated us.They had everything prepared when we showed up, gave us a little demo on standing up and then we were off to a local spot that they knew about. All the gear was in extremely good condition and it made learning super easy.We managed to catch a bunch of really good waves and spent about two hours learning and practicing. Rashid and Danny were really good at helping students stand up and figure out how to time everything.We both managed to stand up and ride a few times. The waves were good, the laughs were even better. We even got a ride back into Naha from Rashid because he happened to be going the same way and was kind enough to let us hitch a ride.These two go out of their way to make sure you have a good time, and it really shows in how well they treat their customers: like friends.I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to learn!

We had a surfing lesson from here and the instructor was very friendly and knowledgeable. Took everyone's skill level into account and even gave us a ride back to town. Highly recommended. Also the guesthouse looked clean and very accommodating.

Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience for my first surf lessons. The instructors were patient and fun and gave me feedback after each attempt. Will definitely go back! Highly recommend.
