There have been so many highlights on this trip. We stayed here three nights and on two of them, we enjoyed our hosts’ delicious dinners! As others have said, the house is really a beautiful, traditional house with a shared bathroom and separate toilet. A small refrigerator and kettle is in each room. We found interesting short rides around the island and the impressive community rose garden is a short walk away.

Such a nice place to stay when cycling the Shimanami Kaido! Beautiful traditional Japanese house with huge rooms. They have bike racks out front to store bikes. I booked through Booking.com and messaged them there to order dinner in advance. We rented “house clothes” to wear after showering as we didn’t bring much. The dinner was incredible - sashimi, grilled yellowtail collar and another boiled soy sauce fish, plus wagyu beef and vegetables. It was all so delicious. The two people running the place are very kind and helpful. They don’t speak much English but we got along fine with body language and google translate when needed. They didn’t offer breakfast when we were there but that would be nice as there’s almost nothing open before 10am in the area. They did provide coffee for free in the morning. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

+Our stay was great! The food was really delicious, we had a cozy Japanese room which we loved and the hosts was very friendly. He helped us because my partner had a knee pain, took us to the bus station with our bike and made us discover the most beautiful point of view of his island!! Thank you very much for that stay!.

+Everything about my stay was perfect. The rooms are stylishly done as is the main room. The hosts were perfect. If you are offered dinner I would accept. It was by far the best meal I have had in three weeks. I can not recommend this house more highly..

+Very nice traditional place and the family were so friendly. I came by bike very late, and they came out to look for me. We're worried for my safety. The food was delicious, and they took as to see the observatory. Best place I have been to in Japan..

Both the husband and his wife were friendly and made us feel very comfortable.The food was also great.I don't usually eat much, but it was so delicious that I had to eat too much.The freshly caught plump sea bream, amberjack, and squid were delicious, and my stomach was satisfied with just that lol.Breakfast is also very filling.I had a tight schedule, so I couldn't take it easy, which was a shame.It's a place I would like to visit again.

Since the day I was staying was my boyfriend's birthday, I wanted to do something for him, so I talked to him over the phone in advance, and he went all the way to Shikoku to buy a cake and champagne for me. We received a surprise meal after dinner, which made our stay very memorable.The inn was a good old private house that was clean throughout, the food was delicious both at night and in the morning, and above all, the couple was very friendly and kind. We arrived at the hotel around 17:30 and were taken by car to the Kirosan Observatory just as the sun set at 7:00 pm, where we were able to see a wonderful view.I would like to visit you again when I go to the island! thank you very much.

I stayed here in September of this year.It is run by a wife and husband from Osaka. In the garden leading up to the entrance, there was a space to put a bicycle and a handmade swing, and I could already feel the warmth. When I opened the front door, my mother greeted me. There is a common room right at the entrance, with a stylish sofa on tatami mats and a large wooden desk. There was jazz music playing and I felt time passing slowly. The room was a good size and warm and sunny. The toilet, bath, and room were all clean, and the futon was especially fluffy so I slept soundly.They also told us about other recommended restaurants in the neighborhood, and even though we were staying without meals, they served us homemade cake, muscat, and coffee in the morning. It was very delicious. On the last drive home, they saw me off until they were out of sight.A wonderful couple who are full of hospitality and make you feel warm. I would like to visit you again when I go to Oshima. Breakfast and dinner included😊I was very satisfied.

Visited October 2018I'm writing this just now, but it's a very nice inn if you're a quiet person.This inn is a renovated private house, so those who are not considerate of others will be inconvenienced.The day I stayed, it was in my hometown, Fukushima Prefecture, which is next door to Ibaraki Prefecture (lol)The husband seems to be from Osaka...Yeah, I kind of admire it.

The owner and his wife of the B&B are very warm and courteous. The Japanese-style house is super clean.One stay and two meals, dinner and breakfast are fresh and delicious, and the dining environment planned by the boss is really nice
