It's built like an apartment, and I'm glad that the bathroom and toilet are separate. The staff are also kind. Both the washing machine and bathroom dryer are attached to the room, and each use costs 100 yen. They also have gel balls for detergent. This was a great help as I got wet in the rain while riding my bike. You can also bring your bath towels and towels with you, even if you go to a nearby hot spring.I'm really glad I chose this hotel ^_^I would definitely like to use it again when I come to Dogo again.

The best! I cannot believe Egret Dogo is so affordable, given it has the best location - right beside Dogo Onson Annex, and near all the other main attractions of Dogo area. You can easily go to Lawson konbini, izakayas, buy souvenirs, all just a few minutes from the hotel. The room has everything you need for a comfortable stay - big, decent-sized room, comfy bed, towels, robes, free toiletries, microwave and fridge, etc. The staff were very nice and accommodating - even if I requested (without prior notice) to leave my bags earlier than my check-in time, and also leave my bags after check-out, and even when I made a slight disturbance in the hotel early in the morning. They were very gracious, polite, and agreed to my other requests. If you're debating between booking a hotel or saving up and staying at a dorm/hostel, this is the best combination of affordable, but private and comfortable rooms.I will definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you Egret Dogo!

I used it on a solo trip to Dogo Onsen.I made a reservation after reading the reviews, and it was almost exactly as the reviews said!First of all, the location is perfect for those who want to enjoy hot springs!Asuka-no-yu is right next door. The room is very clean and new, and I think it's perfect for long-term stays! ️As others have written, it feels like a weekly apartment and has plenty of amenities.I was also very impressed with the staff's response, so if I have a chance to come to Dogo Onsen again, I would definitely use this place again.

It's cheap, and it's right in the middle of the hot spring town, next to Asuka no Yu, so it's very convenient. The atmosphere feels like a studio apartment, but I think it's perfect if you're planning on staying for a long time and going to the hot springs. There is a parking lot, but please note that the number of spaces is limited. If you come by car, the entrance may be a little difficult to find.

The room is very clean and has new facilities and amenities. Furthermore, we have all the home appliances necessary for short-term living, such as a washing machine, a small kitchen, a refrigerator, an IH stove, an electric kettle, a hair dryer, a USB extension cord, Wi-Fi, and a work desk. This is a weekly/monthly type of apartment, but I used it as a base for my Matsuyama trip for two nights. It's conveniently located next to Dogo Onsen Annex, so there's no waste in making reservations for the hot springs and waiting. There was also plenty of parking available outside the premises. At the time of the first reception, the front staff was very polite and gave me information about sightseeing spots in Matsuyama City, including Dogo Onsen, and I was able to enter a little-known taimeshi restaurant without any trouble.Since it's an apartment building, there are no meals provided, but there are plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and supermarkets nearby, so it's not a problem at all. It was a great opportunity for me to discover a new style of travel, as I had only used to stay at inns.Actually, due to some circumstances, I had to reschedule a reservation that had been canceled, but I was impressed by how kind and attentive the staff were, and how concerned they were about my physical condition. One thing to be aware of is that there is no elevator, so you have to go up and down the stairs to get to your room on the 3rd or 4th floor. Please be careful if you have weak legs or require barrier-free access. There are many ways to use it, such as living a nomadic life in multiple locations or using it as a base for a pilgrimage. We hope that our business model will be recognized as the best cost-effective accommodation (rental property) and that similar businesses will spread to major tourist destinations across the country.Although I am a resident of another prefecture, I felt like I was able to own a vacation home in Matsuyama, Ehime. Thank you very much for this time. I will use it again.

Good points: Price, location, small but equipped kitchen, pots etc. can be rented, manager is kindBad points: The sound of the door closing is so loud that it disturbs your sleep (it makes a shockingly loud bang), the bed and TV are small.I think it's good overall, but the noise from the front door is quite annoying...I guess it depends on the morale of the guests, but I would like the lodging industry to take steps to quietly close the doors. It was a shame that something could have been done, such as putting a sticker on the doorknob, but they left it alone.

I used it on December 30, 2022.The room is a normal apartment type, so it is not suitable for those who want to feel like a resort. However, it is very nice and clean. There was a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, so I was able to clean the bulky clothes from my winter trip. The staff are also very kind and helpful. The Dogo Onsen annex is next door, so you can go without getting cold. However, depending on the room, two beds are lined up in a vertical line.I would like to use it again when I travel around Dogo.

Stayed in January 2023. Personally, I think this is the most cost-effective accommodation in Dogo Onsen. First of all, the location is great, right next to Dogo Onsen Annex Asuka no Yu. As with Dogo Onsen Honkan, it is popular and there is often a wait on holidays, so you can wait in your room. After taking a bath, you can return to your room without getting cold because the bath is right next door. The room is very clean and feels like renting a room in an apartment, and it is equipped with home appliances such as a washing machine, microwave oven, and large refrigerator. Of course, the bath and toilet are separate, and the TV is state-of-the-art and you can watch YouTube etc. Amenities such as loungewear, bath towels, and toothbrushes were provided, and the bed was comfortable, making it feel like I was at home. Check-in is on the 2nd floor, but the staff was very kind and even took the trouble to carry my luggage to my room on the 3rd floor. The price was also very reasonable even though it was the year-end and New Year holidays. This time I made a reservation at Jalan, and even the slightly expensive 1pm check-out plan was 10,000 yen for 2 adults. Preschool children are free. You can also use coupons and get points, so it's actually less than half the price. You can park in the parking lot until check-out time of 13:00. The plan was to stay overnight without meals, but I wanted to eat sea bream rice outside, so there was no problem. The next morning was spent going to the Dogo Onsen main building and buying souvenirs. The money you save on hotel fees can be used for sightseeing, which is very helpful. thank you very much.
