It is basically an inn for pilgrims, but if it is vacant, you can stay there. There is a roof 🅿️ which is nice for bikers!

A historic building in the quaint part of old downtown Ozu. The interior courtyard includes a pond with Koi. The owner is calm, caring and helpful with sufficient English for helpful assistance.

I stayed overnight while walking the pilgrimage route. This was my first time staying at a proper pilgrimage inn, and I had fun talking about the pilgrimage with other guests.I originally planned to stay for one night, but I asked my husband to let me stay for two nights.I would like to use it again even if I am not a walking pilgrim.If that happens, I'm sure I'll want to walk again.

It would be difficult to find one without the help of Google Maps, because the entrance is not obvious and there is no English name of the hotel. It is a very dilapidated and shabby hotel made entirely of wood. Every step makes a sound. Each room does not provide a key or phone number. No chicken coop! Not worth the money, the price is not cheap!No breakfast or dinner provided!

I slept on a futon in a tatami room for the first time in a while. I also slept in a large room all to myself and had a great time.

I do not recommend this guesthouse. If the welcome is pleasant, the room is much less so. Dinner is ordinary and breakfast non-existent.

It is evaluated as a pilgrimage of a special kind.When you think of Ozu, you think of Tokiwa Ryokan!If you want something special, go to Tokiwa Ryokan!My husband is also a bekkoku mawashi, so he can give me advice on things other than bekkoku 7.This is my first reliable ally☺️What about the meal? Some people may think so, but after hearing about the circumstances of the Afu Pilgrimage Inn, I not only understand it, but I also think that it was an efficient breakfast that I can understand only because I have actually walked it.Even if you are not staying for consecutive nights, we will leave your luggage there for you during your round trip.You can make reservations for your physical strength and time, and if you try hard, you can go all the way to Uchiko.There are also healing Taisho three colors♪According to the special regular who introduced us to this hotel, it is ``the number one inn I want to support from now on.''
