This was run by Atsuko-san and she one of the best people I've had the pleasure to lodge with. On the 1st day, she went above and beyond asking me where I was headed and when I told her I didn't have an idea, she sat down with me, mapped out exactly where and when I could leave. Moreover, making sure my stay at guesthouse farmor was as pleasant could be.One of the best people I felt I had met. If I'm ever in the area again, she would be a high priority to come and just say hello to. Thank you again for everything Atsuko-san!

Thank you Atsuko-san for staying up to receive me late at night as I was delayed by rains. Although it was only just an overnight stay, your hospitality was heart-felt. I had a good rest as the place was super comfortable, plus the simple breakfast was enough to sustain me until I reached Imabari. Hope to visit and stay again so that I could go check out the rabbits at Okunoshima.

We spent two nights here-- good shower, well-heated rooms, excellent location, and an absolutely darling host. She made us dinner reservations and dropped everything to help us make phone calls when we were looking for a missing item. Felt like staying with my own grandmother!

We stayed one night on our Shimanami Kaido adventure. Thank you for your warm welcome and for booking a restaurant to dine at since we would arrive late.

I used it as a lodging for cycling on the Shimanami Kaido and traveling alone.Although the room was not large, I was able to relax and rest my body and mind in preparation for the next day's cycling. For dinner, we asked in advance and they made a reservation for us at a delicious Japanese restaurant.I wonder if the secret to his energy is that he welcomes customers from all over the world. Dear owner, stay well!

I was so happy that they were so considerate towards us with our dog. It's the perfect guest house. Try again when the citrus smells! I would like to visit Omishima (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤And I would like to go and see Atsuko-san!Definitely recommended.guesthouse fomor❀Thank you Atsuko-san (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤I returned home with the strongest power in Shikoku from Oyamagi Shrine ( ꈍᴗꈍ)

These days I've become addicted to staying alone in private lodgings.I bought an action camera and decided that I wanted to take pictures of some beautiful scenery, so I ended up on the Shimanami Kaido. On the first day, we enjoyed Dogo Onsen and climbed Matsuyama Castle, then moved to Imabari to sightsee, and then took a bus to Omishima. After that, I visited Mr. Farmor for one night and two days. It was a hot summer day and I was exhausted.Thank you very much for all your help, such as taking me to a local hot spring, making reservations for a recommended restaurant, and driving me to a bicycle rental shop. The room was also private and clean. On the same day, a French person came to stay and we had a cross-cultural exchange. I couldn't really communicate because I couldn't speak English, but the proprietress has a lot of overseas experience and is good at English.

We slept there one night as a couple while riding the Shimanami Kaido. The guesthouse is conveniently located, it has everything you would need, and the room & beds are comfy. Unfortunately I injured my foot and could not ride my bicycle the next day, and Atsuko really went out of her way to help us go on to our next location. She made us feel welcome and speaks good english. I hope to come and stay there again!

What a comfortable and welcoming home- Atsuko was so warm and friendly, making us feel immediately relaxed and looked after, as well as being incredibly communicative and accommodating up until our stay.If you’re doing the Shimanami Kaido or just need a cosy home away from home, you must stay here! Worth every penny.
