A nice hideaway place! The food is also good. The rooms have been renovated and are comfortable! The hot springs were also great!Large male staff? An office worker? The customer service is a bit of a waste...improvement is needed!! ️

An existing wooden elementary school is being reused. The classroom will be turned into accommodation, with a dining room, showers, and baths. In the summer, it's probably crowded with families and groups.

It was my first time traveling along the Shimanami Kaido.Since it was my old school, I was both nostalgic and a little nervous. The room has been beautifully renovated (the entrance to the room remains the same for Classes 1 and 2), and there is a school chair inside, which is quite tasteful. The amenity goods are also perfect. The towels are also fluffy. The bath was reserved for private use, so the water was a bit hot, and you could see the ocean when you stood up from the bath. The food was excellent. The fried rockfish is especially delicious. Each person had sea bream rice, sashimi, sashimi, and simmered sea bream. However, since it was September, there were still insects (mosquitoes, grasshoppers, etc.).There was insect repellent spray in the roomIt's quiet at night. But the lights were always on in the hallways, so it wasn't scary.I think the cost performance is quite good because you can get in touch with nature, go to the sea right in front of you, and eat delicious food.If you are going to Omishima on the Shimanami Kaido, we highly recommend it.

The atmosphere of the school was wonderful and it felt nostalgic. The toilet and especially the bath are clean and comfortable. The dinner was luxurious and wonderful, with lots of fish! The portions are large, so it's best to come on an empty stomach. The photo is still on the way, but after this we had various things such as tempura with boiled rice, which was very delicious. In a Japanese-style room, there was no toilet in the room, so it was a little difficult.

A true oasis of tranquility and beauty! Our stay here was the highlight of our trip to Japan! The owners and staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed and more! The breakfasts and dinners were spectacular and consisted of endless courses that were prepared with such care and fresh local ingredients. The rooms and shared spaces (dining room and bath house) were so beautifully decorated with simplicity and elegance! The hotel/inn has its own private pier and beach within walking distance, and the area is very peaceful and quiet. For those who love to get off the beaten path, we highly recommend staying here - it is well worth the time taken to travel here ☺️

The exterior looks like a wooden elementary school from the good old days, but the interior is comfortable with the latest equipment and the walls are stylish. The cuisine is unique to Setouchi, and is a gentle and delicious dinner from sashimi to simmered fish. Although it is not an inn that represents luxury by any means, it is recommended for families who are tired of inns that cost the same price.

This is a unique hotel that was renovated from a closed elementary school. The guest rooms, which use a lot of wood, are warm and soothing.
