I took up a lot of time climbing Mt. Hiuchigatake, so I contacted Hutte from the mountain trail (via Softbank carrier).I apologized and wanted to avoid worrying about my arrival, but...Thank you to the owner for his great care! Thank you! It was. Shall I pick you up on the way and let the young person at the hut carry your luggage? We received such warm words and realized once again how immature we are. Some people have written about other people getting scolded, but you should follow the rules, and even if you get scolded, it's a sign of love and don't forget that bathing, eating, etc. are group activities with other guests. I think this is something that should not be done. Don't forget to be grateful before you get angry. We checked in quite late, but the next time we go hiking on a different mountain, we would like to learn from the owner's love and how he treated us like mountaineers and enjoy the trail.I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to the owners and everyone at Hutte. Thank you very much. The woman I was traveling with was also a beginner, but she seems to have grown to like the mountains more and more without hating them.

Stayed here for the first time in 4.5 years.I was surprised to see that the facilities had changed quite a bit (and the prices had changed as well (lol)).Credit card accepted for accommodation expenses only. All other purchases must be made in cash. You cannot check in even if you arrive early. As you enter the entrance, there is a luggage rack for guests, so you can store your luggage while walking around. The women's bathroom has three showers. Body soap and conditioner shampoo provided. Maybe you can't use it unless it's provided? However, the water in Oze is good, and the hair and skin are made of natural materials, so it doesn't feel stiff. During my stay, my skin and hands were smooth and plump... I wish I had washed my face more. Please note that there are no day-trip baths available for ten nights. There are 2 dryers. The private room for two people only had one outlet, so I had to bring my own octopus leg. There is hand soap in the toilet probably after the coronavirus. But toothpaste powder is no good.No need to bring an inner sheet. Replacement covers for bed pillows are available at the hotel. The food is delicious and has more variety than at home. Even though I don't like mushrooms, rice with mushrooms is delicious. The baths are open from 15:30 to 19:30, but an announcement will be made as soon as the water is filled and you can take a bath. However, the water is very hot when you add it.The toilet has a flush washlet.Be careful as private rooms with ventilation fans allow entry and are full of insects. The shared rooms (separate for men and women) are made up of silkworm racks (they called them capsules), and the curtains can be drawn so it's a small private room. It looks like there is a number type box that the backpack can fit in, like a delivery box.Private rooms are available for an additional 1000 yen for capsules. I think it would be more comfortable to occupy the area if there were fewer people.I got yelled at for checking in after 4:00pm.

It overturns the common sense of mountain huts. The toilet was clean (washlet), the bed was clean, there was AC power, and I felt relaxed like I was in a capsule hotel.

Since it is built higher than the Nagakura hut, you can see Ozenuma through the trees, but the large deck in front of the building is nice and comfortable. Payment for accommodation can be made by card. (The rest is cash) The bath has shampoo conditioner and body soap, the toilet has a heated toilet seat with a washlet, and the washroom has (2) hair dryers, making the mountain hut even more comfortable. The room is basically a pure Japanese-style tatami mat with a fusuma-style sliding door at the entrance, which can be locked. For drinks, you can get canned beer from the vending machine for 500 yen, and draft beer for dinner only for 800 yen in an ice-cold mug. Instant coffee costs 100 yen. You can drink tap water. Arrive early, take a bath, and go out on the deck to enjoy a beer while looking at Mt. Hijigatake.

I stayed here on a walking tour of Oze.The rumored Maitake mushroom rice was very delicious. The room was small, but there was a shelf to put my luggage, so it was small but easy to use.The futon was comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. The bath was also good. Although it was small, there were 5 showers, which was enough. Above all, I was impressed that all the shared toilets had Western-style washlets. The water in the bathroom was cold, and I woke up refreshed in the morning.
