A long-established hot spring inn established in 1905 that is located far back in Shima Onsen and is very quiet and calm.It seems that it was renovated 12 years ago, but it looks like it has been well taken care of, and it's hard to believe that it's only been 12 years. It has a clean, quiet, and calm atmosphere. The staff, both Japanese and foreign, are polite, kind, and attentive, making you feel very comfortable. There are 3 types of private hot springs, and you can use them as many times as you like whenever they are available. All meals are handmade and created using locally sourced ingredients carefully selected by our local head chef. The flowers arranged by the proprietress throughout the hotel will soothe your mind, which is irritated by the daily miscellaneous things.

The customer service is very polite, and the room is spacious and very clean. I was very satisfied with the many private baths I had. I was impressed by the high level of hospitality, as they served me rice balls as a midnight snack after dinner. I was grateful that they provided me with a free shuttle service right after getting off the highway bus, making it easy to get around. The food is delicious and satisfying.

Deeper inside Shima Onsen in the mountains. There are only mountains, rivers, and hot springs😁 This is a place where you can enjoy them to the fullest. It is basically an old inn that has been renovated and the interior is beautiful. It can be evaluated because there are only a few rooms and all rooms are completely non-smoking. Customer service is also good. The private bath is cleaned every time, so it is always clean. In addition, the glasses, teacups, and teapots used in the room have been replaced with great care. I'm glad to have a pot of cold water before bed and rice balls for dinner 😃 To be honest, the soundproofing in the room and hallway is not good enough 😁
