I made a reservation for the ``Joushu Sukiyaki Plan with free access to the 12 o'clock inn and private open-air bath'' through a major domestic OTA.It is a small hot spring town, and if you go from Nakanojo, it will be on the left side of the front. Since I entered from Kuresaka Pass, I didn't see it very often, so I was a little worried whether it was really there or not.-There is a parking lot for 2 cars at the entrance, and a large parking lot for several cars about 80m to the back on the left, and the fact that umbrellas are provided in the parking lot is a great consideration. There were many local cats around the inn.-The building with the entrance was small, but extended far into the back. It was a complex three-story building that was barrier-free to some extent and was elderly-friendly. It's clear that they're making a lot of effort in this scale, including having an elevator.-The room was just right for 2-3 people. There were two pots of hot and cold water for tea, and water for refills. Every place was clean and had all the amenities. There was no problem with the air conditioner.-The dining area is divided into areas with windows and areas without windows. The windowless area was very small, about 4 tatami mats surrounded by shoji screens, which was very disappointing. Not recommended for people with claustrophobia. It's very lonely not being able to see outside during breakfast, let alone at night. Not only in restaurants, but also with signs saying ``Silent Eating'' and ``Silent Bathing,'' as well as a large number of disinfection devices, etc. It seems that the situation is being operated as it was during the peak of the coronavirus infection, and I think this could be solved if the partitions were removed. I did. The food is very delicious, filling and satisfying.-The large public bath had an open-air bath, and was equipped with handrails for the elderly (men's bath). There are many types of baths, including family baths that do not require reservations if they are available, and private open-air baths that require reservations, and I was able to bathe in all of them comfortably. The sandals I used when going to the private open-air bath were a bit old and worn out.-For smokers, there was also a small smoking corner inside the building. There is duct tape prepared in various places such as the hallway, what is it for? When I asked about it, I was told that it was for removing stink bugs.-I think all the staff are very pleasant and the hospitality is high. I understand that there are few vacancies not only on weekends but also on weekdays. At this price, there will be another one next time.

It's very quiet, and I get the impression that many of the people staying there are repeat guests.Although there are a number of rooms, I felt that the number of guests was limited to about 8 groups. Therefore, there was no feeling of overtourism at all.The hot springs include an open-air bath, a private family bath, and a private open-air bath in the large public bath.Early check-in (from 12:00) is also attractive ☆★☆It's a different world compared to this hot Tokyo (^o^)vIn the morning, it was 19℃(*^o^)/\(^-^*)I'm sorry to bother you again (`・∀・´)ノ

An inn that retains the atmosphere of an old-fashioned spa. You can feel the simplicity and kindness of the landlady in her customer service and food. The bath is also open-air, which is great. I always come here for training sessions, and it's a relief to feel like I'm coming back to my hometown.

There were various reviews, but the smell of the private open-air bath was still there. . .I didn't feel the public bath though. The room has a kotatsu and separate washroom and toilet. It was good.As per someone's review, the response at check-in was a bit disappointing.

The inn is clean and has a long, Sukiya-style interior that is interesting. The food isn't particularly delicious, but I have no complaints. They didn't have any good Japanese sake. It was relatively empty even during the busy season at the end of the year. Please note that there are almost no convenience stores or shops in the area. If you go by public transportation, you may need to buy sweets and snacks in Shibukawa or Takasaki. You can buy beer etc. from vending machines.

Sawatari Onsen is known as a healing hot spring in Kusatsu. After enjoying a day trip bath in Kusatsu, we arrived at the inn at dusk.Sawatari Onsen is small in scale and consists of several inns and public baths. There are not many people walking along the street, so people who want to stay in peace will appreciate it.Miyataya Ryokan where I stayed this time.It is located quite deep in Sawatari Onsen, so it is a must-have as a hideaway. It is located at the top of a hill, so it was built to take advantage of the slope. The front desk is at the top of the second floor. From here, go down and the first floor has bathrooms (separate for men and women). As expected, it also has an elevator! !It also seems to be barrier-free.Dinner starts at 18:00.It's a private room, so it's nice to be able to have fun with just your friends.I didn't like the fact that the air conditioner was old and the outdoor unit was very noisy. .. ..The menu was served once, and everything except rice and soup had been served before we were seated. It was nice to have some unusual items on the menu, such as baked apples with cream, but if I had to be greedy, I would have liked something freshly baked and fluffy. This was delicious on its own, but I'm sure it would have been even better if it had been freshly baked. There is a private bath available, which requires reservations. If you make a reservation immediately after checking in, you will have a higher chance of securing your desired time slot. This time I used it after dinner.Usage time is 40 minutes. The bathroom is in a separate building, so you will need to change into outdoor shoes and walk around. It may be a little difficult to move during rainy weather. There is also a family bath, and reservations are not required for this.If it is not locked, it is available for use.The bathtub is small, but large enough for 2 to 3 people. As with any private bath, the deposits stuck to the spout are worth seeing. As someone who likes night baths, I'm glad that the public bath and family bath can be accessed 24 hours a day.The spring quality is calcium, sodium, sulfate, and chloride spring. The hot water was colorless and transparent, had a pleasant texture, and was gentle enough to cause little irritation to the skin. There was also an open-air bath in the large public bath, and although it was almost over, it was blissful to be able to take a bath while looking at the autumn leaves.Breakfast starts at 8:00.While many inns choose porridge or white rice, Miyataya offers both. This is a welcome consideration for those who want to eat well in the morning. The atmosphere inside the hotel, the bathrooms, and the hostess's service were so good that I would have stayed there for several nights. If I'm craving cream-baked apples, I'll remember Miyataya and make a reservation.

It was said to be a traditional hot spring town.Hot springs are available 24 hours a day, with water flowing directly from the source.Meals are served in each roomPerfect for those who want to relax in a hot spring.I could just hear the sounds of walking in the hallway and the conversations in the room.
