The grounds of a former elementary school are being used as an auto campground, and the school's classrooms have been turned into restaurants, which is interesting. Although it is located along the Nichinan coast, you cannot expect any view from the tent site. It's also along the main road, so even late at night you can hear the sounds of cars (country bikers). The toilet is the size of an elementary school student. The light in the toilet was off late at night, so I was in trouble because I couldn't turn it on even when I pressed the switch.There is also a children's play area, which might be nice for family campers. Since it is far from the city, you can see the stars quite clearly.There is a wide variety of rental items such as tents, so you can easily enjoy camping even if you don't have any camping equipment.There is no shade from trees, so a tarp is almost essential except in winter.The prices are high, but the area is larger than other auto campgrounds, so there is still plenty of room to park your car and set up tents and tarps. However, the ground in the area is uneven due to the number of vehicles entering the area, making it a bit difficult to decide where to pitch a tent for sleeping.It seems like it's suitable for groups and families to relax outdoors and enjoy BBQ, etc. without looking for a view.However, small children will leave the playground and use the tent site as a playground, so be sure to follow the rules when camping with parents. Cars come in and out of the auto campground, and the tent site is the property of the person who rented it or rented it. Don't let campers worry about children.
