I was glad that the male staff at the reception was very easy to talk to, polite, and worked hard.As for the room, the bathroom was poorly cleaned. There was trash left behind from the previous guest and a dead spider. For breakfast, the dining room is the smallest at any Toyoko Inn I've ever stayed in, and I was told that I could take my food to my room, but at this Toyoko Inn, they didn't let me use a container with a lid, so I had to just take it on a tray. I was surprised. The operation of the elderly serving staff was also poor. The smoking area is located on a bench right next to the parking lot, so if there were smokers, the smell would get into the car, and if you were a non-smoker, getting on and off the train was quite uncomfortable. Why are the rooms divided into non-smoking and smoking areas? I thought so.It was a disappointing hotel in many ways, as the reception staff and location were good.

The location is great as it's right in front of the station. The shuttle bus from Shoda Soy Sauce Stadium Gunma stops right in front of you.The rooms are also clean.Breakfast is free, but compared to other Toyoko Inn hotels, the breakfast menu is small and unsatisfying. There is no convenience store nearby. There is a New Days store inside the station, so you can buy a lot of things there, but you need to be careful about the opening hours.

I stayed here on October 1, 2024.The location is less than a minute walk from the south exit plaza of JR Maebashi Station, which was a great help as I was carrying heavy luggage while walking.I think it was about 15 years ago that I was traveling to another prefecture and there was a bus to take me to the meeting point for the tour and to the airport, so I used it even the night before. This time, both of the people at the front desk were very nice.Since I haven't been staying for a while and the automatic check-in in recent years has had a bad effect on membership cards, the front desk staff told me that it would be easier if I installed an app. suggested that I change the input from my membership card to a smartphone app, which was very helpful to me as an older woman.Even though I was confused, he didn't become unfriendly, and I was able to exchange things with him and I felt good from the time he accepted me until I left.I made a reservation about half a month in advance from the hotel's website. Membership is a great deal.Payment can also be made on that screen (200 yen discount for advance payment)In case of cancellationIt seemed like it would be complicated, so I paid on site. I paid in advance at the front desk using a credit card. There are 4 types of cosmetics in DHC bags at the front desk, so please take only what you need. When I turned around, I saw individually wrapped toothbrushes, razors, hairbrushes, and rolling pins.If you are not used to staying overnight, you may not be able to find your loungewear unless you ask at the front desk, but it is stored in a locker with a door at the corner of the line. Please bring it to your room by yourself. The elevator went smoothly and I didn't have to wait too long and I was able to get on the elevator without being crowded with other customers. The room on the fifth floor has a north view.It wasn't great, but it didn't affect my stay at all. Even though it was close to the station, there was no noise from the trains. For the slippers, go through the door and open the door with the mirror to find the hanger and slippers. This time we had a large room with a single bed. It may be because there were still rooms available.I saw many people who looked like businessmen. It opens when you hold the key over it, and it locks automatically, but the inner door also has a double lock system, and it beeps if something gets stuck or it doesn't close completely. The electricity in the room is turned on when you insert the key. I don't usually watch TV, but it was set to display my Wi-Fi number and information about breakfast on the standby screen. When you go to bed, turn off the remote control and the screen will disappear.I thought the bottom shelf of the refrigerator was good especially when it was cold and hot. There was also a 2 liter plastic bottle and probably a paper carton of drinks in the door pocket.I used wet towels and ice packs to cool my eyes and forehead in a plastic bag. I also received powdered green tea and plum kombucha from the lobby. In the lobby, there is an ice machine and a vending machine that dispenses ice cubes one by one. There were enough chairs and tables. We waited until we entered the room, met each other when we left, and served as a breakfast venue. It was the first Tuesday of the month, but there were plenty of seats available. When I went for breakfast on Wednesday, around 7:30, I was able to enjoy my breakfast in a window seat a little away from the other guests while watching the morning train traffic. The people in charge of meals were also very nice and kind.I checked out after 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, maybe because I was on the 5th floor.I'm glad I didn't see anyone cleaning yet and didn't feel rushed. I was a little confused because I wasn't used to switching between the shower and water, but I soon figured it out.Regarding the 1 night free stay for 10 points, the points from a long time ago (the last one at Tachikawa Toyoko Inn was February 2016, and the points from before that time have not expired!I was lucky that no other hotel chain had such a good deal on this system. Toyoko Inn is also expensive even in a more deserted city within the prefecture, so the turnover rate is high. While other hotels are more expensive, I was glad that I was able to stay there for 6,270 yen that day.I've seen some negative reviews about other Toyoko Inns, such as the staff at the front desk, depending on the time, but the service was very good. appreciate! I plan to use it again when I need to stay overnight. thank you very much.

The location is perfect in front of Maebashi Station. It was a corner room, so I didn't have to worry about noise. It was a premium plus room, but there were no bags for hair dryers on the table, so I was a bit disappointed. However, it's not really a big problem.I don't have a particularly bad impression of the response from the front desk.Well, it's a self-check-in machine and uses a card key, so I hardly ever interact with it.
