I stayed there in early September.I often go to places like Izu and Hakone. This is my third time at Ikaho.Among the inns in the same price range, this one isThe service was outstandingAlso, the open-air bath in the room is Shirogane no Yu.Be sure to try the golden hot water at Fukuichi's large public bath.I posted this because I wanted you to enjoy it.You have to travel quite a distance to reach the public bath. It's worth it.

The room was very spacious, but from the moment I entered, it had a very old smell that never changed.I wonder if there is anything that can eliminate that smell. It would be nice if it smelled like cypress. The accommodation cost was quite high, I think it was over 150,000 yen per night. Also, the photos looked nicer and didn't look old, and the reviews were very good, so I was a little disappointed in my expectations. It was nice to have two sinks, a hair dryer outlet on the left and right, and two toilets. The washing area in the bathroom is very spacious, and the shampoo etc. smells good◎The open-air hot spring attached to the room made my body feel smooth, which was also nice.

Perfect for coming incognito! The concept is a luxury inn where guests can basically spend time together without seeing each other. Of course, the level of customer service is on a whole other level, and as soon as we arrived by car, 4-5 staff members and their wives greeted us with bows. I’m scared lolWhen you are guided inside the building, you will enter a wonderful space that you cannot imagine considering the classic building. The rooms are also top class. The living room, hallway, and dressing room are all heated, so there is no floor cooling. All the amenities and equipment provided were quite satisfactory.Everything in the fridge is free, and alcohol is also available. The food is great, both dinner and breakfast. It's not just the taste and appearance, but the dishes are also made with great care, and just looking at them makes your heart swell. No one under the age of 20 can stay here, so don't worry.

As this is an inn that is often used by celebrities, the staff are very hospitable from the moment you park your car in the parking lot, and the entire process from check-in to check-out is done in your room, so you can spend a comfortable time without meeting anyone. I was able to spend a good time.It was also the time of autumn leaves, so I was able to enjoy the hot spring town while taking a walk to Kawaka Bridge, which is famous for its autumn leaves. They were also very particular about their dishes, using ingredients from all over Japan with many ingenuity, and the dishes were so beautiful that you could admire them. The head chef also came to say hello and I was happy to see his face. The staff who took care of the rooms were all kind and polite, and the customer service was wonderful. The dishes change every month, so I'm hoping to go in the spring next time. I wanted to make sure I stayed there, so I made reservations six months in advance and went to Hunchengrou for the first time. Enjoy the open-air bath day and night to your heart's content, and enjoy elaborate cuisine in your private room. It was a truly happy moment. It's nice to have a well-established worldview. I felt comfortable in the guest room, which had been stripped of things that reminded me of everyday life. (Garbage bags, for example) There are things that we feel unconsciously, so in that sense it was extraordinary and dream-like. 1 night and 2 days is not enough... I wanted to taste more so I will come again lolI went back and read past reviews before visiting, and I was impressed to see how they were incorporating customer feedback and making improvements. It continues to evolve. What caught my attention this time was the breakfast, and towards the end I was asked if I needed a refill of rice. He said that he would have liked to have a second helping if there were still some side dishes left. We would appreciate it if you could use this as a help for future improvements.I love Ikaho Onsen. I sincerely hope that it will be a place that people can enjoy for the next 50 or 60 years. I want to support them, so I will visit again. At that time, I will be indebted to you again!

Established in 2008, Kaichoro is an adults-only (minimum age is 18 to stay here) onsen ryokan located in Ikaho Onsen, Gunma, and is an annex of its sister inn, Fukuichi, which has been around for over 14 generations (at least 440 years.) …
